Mark has been keeping my old cars running well for 20 years. He is very skilled at diagnosing tricky problems, and fixing them right.
We've been bringing our vehicles to Astroth for 50 years plus! Mark is an old school mechanic taking over from his father and carrying on the tradition with quality work and honest prices!
Mark is a great mechanic and is very fair with his pricing. Also, as a woman, I feel like he only does what needs to be done in doesn't try to come up with some fake extra work to be done. Whenever I've wanted to buy a used car, I have him check it out before I make the purchase decision. He finds things I would never notice.
Russ is great, very honest. Will only do repairs needed. I had my car at a chain for a flat tire. They told me I needed $1,200 worth of work. I took my car to Russ and he determined I only needed two items on list that cost $300, saved $900.
Excellent small shop! Mark does great work; performed quickly and at a fair price. One of the few mechanics I've run into in this area that I can trust to not screw me over.
You will Not find a better mechanic in the St. Louis area. Reasonable prices, phoenominal service!! Great hometown place of business.. Mark gives you faith in mechanics again,, been there for decades, handed down from generation to generation!!
I got a quote from another repair shop in the St. Louis area and they continued to pressure me to get a repair completed every time I entered their shop. It was a pretty expensive repair and they made it appear as though I was going to be driving along and my axel was going to break in half at any moment! After taking the time to look at the situation, Mark noted that it wasn't as bad as they made it out to be and it would be over HALF the price!
He's real with you and yet isn't out to rip you off. BRING YOUR CAR TO HIM!
