Best WLM Reviews
Asian Potato became a family-favorite after we discovered this hidden gem a few years ago. It's a lowkey and chill atmosphere, and the service is always good.
The best thing on the menu, bar none, is the orange flavor chicken. It's unlike any orange chicken you've had, and I urge you to treat your taste buds to this citrus-flavored dish. The Pineapple Massaman Curry Lo Mein is also fantastic (and a mouthful to say)! The ham fried rice is an excellent side dish. I wasn't a fan of the Bejing beef as a standalone (too spicy over time), but it would be good as a shared entree with three or four people.
I absolutely love Asian Potato and will continue coming back!
I ordered the eggplant. I really think it was microwaved because ate 15 min it was still very hot almost inedible. There was also no flavor (wheres the garlic) and lots of grease. Added rice to cool it down. Did not work. They took it off the bill. The staff was really nice. It was clean in the restaurant. General Taos had a good flavor but wasn't very crispy. Used 3 paper towels. Portion size was amazing.
My Yellow Curry with Chicken was delicious. Generous portion with rice.
We also ordered the Bo Bo Party Plate. Very dissatisfied. It hardly looked like the photos that the restaurant posted.
The atmosphere was also very disappointing. Big open, cold feeling, unwelcoming with an echo when we talked. There appears to be storage in the room where patrons sit to eat. Dirty feeling.
The service was lacking. Nothing was offered other than a refill on the water. No soy sauce, or other condiments and seasonings.
We won’t return.
Menu items look very different from what we were served.
I used to eat at this place a few years ago and the food was amazing. This last experience I will not go there anymore. The food was not good. We got the ham fried rice for takeout to compliment the food we were cooking at home, but ended up just throwing it away it was so nasty. You used to also get fried rice with an entree, but now they make you pay over 10 dollars for a side of fried rice.
We had a big family meal here. The curry was good and the staff were so nice, but the walnut shrimp and pineapple chicken were to die for!! Excellent!
I ordered here & the food tasted like it was refrigerated & warmed up NOT fresh at all. I was supposed to get 2 entrees of rice & only got 1. I ordered the cashew shrimp, 2 orders of cream cheese wontons, fried potatoes, orange chicken, large wonton soup, & shrimp lo mein. My fanily agreed the best thing was the rice & cream cheese wontons. We wasted the wonton soup because it smelled & tasted like pee. The wontons in the soup are supposed to be flavorful & I just wanted to gag & throw up. I wish I just went to Mcdonald's. I've never been so sad at wasting my $75. I shouldn't have tipped since I picked up. Smdh! Why the heck does this place have 4.4 reviews?! People are so misleading here in Utah & don't know good food if it bit them in their toes ????♀️!
Worst place to eat EVER! Customer service these las two times we went were awful. They are rude and disrespectful when you try to tell them something is wrong with the food. Our food tasted like it was cooked the day before and reheated. When we brought this to their attention they told us they will no longer be serving us in the future instead of apologizing and making it right. I will be spreading the word to all of my family and friends who eat here on a regular to let them know that it was gone completely downhill. Needs new management and employees who know a thing about customer service.
I ordered takeout from here last night. When I went in to pick it up I asked for an extra cup of sweet and sour sauce since it does not let you order one online. The lady said it was $2 for an extra cup, so I went ahead and paid for it. When I got home (I live less than 30 seconds from the restaurant) I opened up everything to start dishing it out. The "extra" sweet and sour sauce they charged me for wasn't even 1/4 full. The sweet and sour pork I ordered was so soggy that the breading was falling off of the pork itself and the pork was hard like it was overcooked. I ordered a thing of cream cheese wontons and they had NO cream cheese in the middle, it was just fried wonton wrapper. The ham fried rice was burnt and tasted disgusting. Only decent things we got were the pot stickers and egg rolls. I contacted Seamless who I ordered the food through and sent them videos of the food I received and showed them how awful it was because I paid $50 to only end up being able to eat two things. They said they would refund the three things I was not satisfied with and I thought that was the end of it. Fast forward to today, I got three different phone calls and voicemails from Asian Potato, and couldn't answer because I was at work. Finally after the third call I got a message stating "still have not hear from you...sadly, we will place you on our do not service list, hopefully you will be happy with your next provider" Like what? They never even gave me a chance to call back after I got off of work and now they are saying I am on their do not service list? Fine with me, I've ordered from there a couple times and every time I order it is not good or mediocre at best. Do not eat here. Not worth your money and if you try to tell them your food wasn't good, they won't make it right and will just not serve you again.
