We had a great breakfast! The pancakes are thick!!! Our server was very friendly and good at her job! We'll definitely be back!
While visiting home from Nc, I came here for lunch with my Dad. Had the tenderloin as I do all over Iowa to see how it compares. Tenderloin was very good, I wouldn’t say the best in Iowa but very good and even the fries are very good although simple! Just the classic basics! Still exceeds what you’d expect so I was very pleased! Server was very kind and attentive! Place was clean and even the bathroom which says a lot!
Very clean, fast and courteous service. Food was amazing and served at just the right temperature. We'll be back.
The best burger I've had in awhile. Their pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and taco breakfast skillet are all great too. And Roberto was our server and was so nice and attentive!
Service was not very good. No friendliness, and one of the waitresses kept m-f’ing someone about text messages on her phone. The sides came later after having to ask a couple times for them. Bacon was added to a burger ($1 per menu). After waiting and waiting for bacon, finally ate the burger and as the waitress picked up the empty plate, she said “your bacon is coming, he just put it on”. We told her to forget about it cause now we’re done eating. Then the bill comes and it has a $3 bacon charge on it.
If you are going to have a Denver omelette and a western omelette on the menu, there ought to be a good reason. When mushrooms are the main difference, perhaps they should be fresh. At April’s, they weren’t. I wouldn’t harp on it or even mention it if my server wasn’t so ice cold. My ‘thank you’s literally got nothing but silence and my questions only garnered a ‘yeah’. Certainly edible, but not recommended.
Great food at a very reasonable price! The staff was polite and friendly. Service was on par and wait time was minimal. We will be back the next time were in town.
Ate there for breakfast. Like a diner should be, very plain, unassuming atmosphere, but very good food. My omelet was first rate. Next time in Manchester I'll definitely go there again.
