The views are spectacular! Next time I will try the food. They also have a beach front ????️ for swimming! Children are also welcome! Highly recommend this Restaurant. There’s also another beach within walking distance.
The atmosphere is amazing here! Plenty of sun and fresh air to be had, and even a beach pavilion. The food, however, left something to be desired. The conch fritters were undercooked and raw in the center, and the scallops tasted like rubber from being overcooked. The service was a solid 5 ????, but they definitely need some help in the kitchen. I would probably try it again in the future - maybe this was just a bad experience? ????
I ate here for several nights during a recent work trip. The location is great providing lovely beach views for the outdoor tables. The menu is pretty varied and I enjoyed everything that I tried. Service was good overall, nice and cheerful from a busy young team. There is a really nice little beach bar on the sand next door but I am not sure if that is actually part of Whisky Joe's.
It's rare that a place with amazing decor and waterfront views have food that is equally great. Whiskey Joe's is an exception.
I got the Joe's Island Pork Sandwich, which is served with strawberry-guava BBQ sauce, crispy onion straws and smokehouse slaw. The BBQ sauce was just a tad sweet and delicious. The sandwich overall was great.
The decor is awesome. I could hang out here all night.
The only negative was the service. There were 5 bartenders behind the bar at one point and none of them were working. Several of us (strangers) at the bar were waiting for drinks and checks while they giggled and gossiped while looking at their phones. It is like we were invisible. Special thanks to the gentlemen at the end of the bar who managed to get their attention, broke up their staff party, and got us all some service. You are a true hero.

Great location for a family dinner, came here with my husband and 9 month old for dinner and the view was breathtaking. The calamari was not good, they only put a couple pieces of calamari and then the rest of the basket is onion rings. Sneaky way of making you pay for calamari but then having 3/4 of the basket with heavily battered onion rings. Don’t recommend that. The seafood pasta was very good, they had a generous amount of shrimp, scallops, and mussels over a linguine Cajun sauce. The garlic bread on top tasted stale, but the overall taste of the pasta was very good. They have a nice selection of dinner options and kids options as well. Service was ok, after telling our waiter that we did not like the calamari she didn’t seem like she cared and seemed like her demeanor changed towards us, and still added it to our bill… Overall, great place for a date night with a view and kid friendly.
This is the perfect spot for great food and drinks on the water. Whether you want a nice dining experience inside, a water view from the bar outside or waterside on the beach under the huge tiki bar, it’s a great experience. Parking can be trying but worth the wait.
Today me and my family had made a reservation for 9 people and when we had arrived we were told we had to wait 30 more minutes. When we were finally seated our group was seated at a table and a booth a few feet away from the table and we had to be separated. It is a Saturday and I get that it is busy but this is unacceptable. The atmosphere is loud and noisy and not enjoyable. The service from our waitress was nice at least. The food is decent but some dishes were salty or dry. We had to wait 50 minutes for our food even though tables the same size of us were seated and fed before us. We will not be returning.
