Best WLM Reviews

The taste of the food was not good. The chili chicken had excess sauce. The noodles were extremely tasteless. We ordered noodles with eggs and chicken, but the noodles were overcooked. The chicken was also not fresh. This was not at all what Indian food tastes like.
Food was absolutely phenomenal! I forgot to take a before picture before delving hard into our feast. Great portions! Loved the family style! It made it so fun to get to try the other dishes and the staff was so friendly and paid great detail to attention.
I have had the tandoori chicken with the special bread. It was very authentic and delicious! I am here today eating the chicken biryani, it is amazing as well. What a hidden gem!!! Get by and try it.
I went to this Indian place a couple of months ago on my way to visit my sister-in-law. Here is a summary of my experience of this place and its food.
-- Ambiance 3.5/5: Nothing great. This looks like a hole-in-the-wall place that resembles a college cafeteria. From outside it looked like small local joint but I was craving for Indian food and wanted to try it.
--- Service 4/5: The service was a little slow but the good thing was that they ensured we had things on our table and our table was never empty once it started coming.
-- Food 3/5: This is where my major issue is and I did not like some of the taste of it. Here is the summary of what we had:
First the good, this is the first Indian restaurant in the USA which serves you free papad. I have never seen this anywhere so this was a delight.
Coming on to the food we ordered:
1. Aloo Chana Chaat: The chaat did not have enough yogurt and did not taste good. There was a lot of sour chutneys and not enough sweet chutney to balance it.
2. Gobhi Manchurian: The gobhi Manchurian tasted raw. Once the layer was out you could see raw cauliflower in it. The quantity was low and was pricey as well.
3. Garlic Naan: This was good but one of the costliest naan that we have ever had
4. Gajar Halwa: This is the most disappointing in my opinion. It didn't taste anything like gajar halwa and hat grated coconut pieces in it. I had never seen it before and the taste tasted like nothing. Very disappointing and not recommended at all.
-- Value for Money 2/5: I felt that this place was costly for the food taste and ambiance that they had.
Overall, not recommended from my end unless you are really craving Indian food and there is nothing nearby plus you have deep pockets.
Also Gajar halwa is a big NO here.
Everything tasted wonderful! I ordered Aloo Baingan and fresh tandoori bread (garlic naan. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend this Restaurant.
First time and we had a fantastic dining experience. Ordered the goat korma and saag paneer. The goat was very tender and the korma was perfectly balanced. Saag paneer was thick in the spinach, which is the way I like it. Came with an appetizer of papadums and delicious chutneys. Service was attentive and Arlinda was very sweet. They even gave us a complimentary dessert of rice pudding with toasted almonds, and it was absolutely wonderful. I will be back, and I’m sooooo glad Chattanooga finally has a great Indian place!
Don’t go! Flies everywhere ordered a sweet tea while drinking, I realized the glass was dirty. After being served they never came back to check on me or ask if the food was good. The service is terrible these guys don’t care about their customers. I am terribly disappointed, and I will not be back or refer this place to anyone. Top it off he drops the check on table and says nothing. It’s a shame the service here is a joke. Food was not the best mediocre I have had way better this place is over rated.
I've heard great things about this place from social media and decided to stop in. Glad I did. Food was excellent! Service was quick and friendly. Looking forward to returning.
