Best WLM Reviews

We came to Anna’s Polish Restaurant for lunch and it was wonderful. The food was very comforting and satisfying yet so light and fresh! We had: White Borsch, Pickle Soup, Polish Trio, Stuffed Cabbage, Cracovia Chicken Cutlet, Papal Cream. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Although it was a quiet lunchtime, the Polish music along with a few beers made it up for a pleasant atmosphere.
First time visiting and was hoping for great food based on the other reviews. I will say the perogies were not bad and the desert was great, but the pork snitzal was dry and overcooked. The potato pancakes were so greasy ???? and tasted like old nasty oil. The service was good. I will just take this place off my list.
The food and service were excellent. My husband and I had the Hunters stew for the first time, which it was amazing. The goulash is really tasty
We brought our Polish exchange student here for some authentic Polish food. We absolutely loved it, and even she gave the seal of approval! Great atmosphere with great customer service.
anna’s was a restaurant with delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and pleasant staff. seated in the back corner, we ordered the white borsch (soup), stuffed cabbage, seasoned meat pierogi, and wazanki (flat noodle pasta). we were served hot bread rolls and a multi grain bread. our waiter checked on us every now and then to make sure we were okay, and provided refills without request, which was appreciated. having never had borsch before, i was dubious, yet was pleasantly surprised by the rich, creamy, and slight lemony flavor. the hard boiled egg at the bottom was a good surprise that reminded me of my oma’s soup. everything was delicious. from the savory wazanki with bits of sausage, to the light pierogis with the sweet caramelized onions on top. the stuffed cabbage was a large portion covered in a rich tomato sauce. the mashed potatoes served with the cabbage were some of the best i’ve ever had, and were deliciously creamy and smooth. i wish i had room for desert so i could have tried their apple strudel. should i come into the area again, anna’s will be the first place i visit.
I’ve read the reviews that are marked low and a lot of them complain about the wait. The only reason for the wait is due to it being a mom and pop shop. only two people obviously if it gets busy there will be a wait. My experience was great me and my boyfriend loved the place. The food was worth the wait and the service was great. The lady is very sweet and her brother (I believe) is a hard worker.
My first time having Polish food. We had a party of 5 at 1:00 pm, and at first I admit I was skeptical of the place, but it really surpassed my expectations. We walked in, and there was no one there. Not a single customer. However, a lady in the back noticed us at the front and directed a man, who I think was the main person to run the store with Anna, to seat us. The decorations were very nice and it was homey on there. I love the atmosphere and family owned businesses, you can really feel the authenticity. We ordered chicken tenders, dumplings (appetizer), the dumplings with meat inside (entree) with pickles, and perogies. One thing to note is the pierogi portions are small, but everything else is a nice size. The chicken tenders were amazing, not dry at all. The perogies were delicious as well, and the dumplings were great too. The lemonades were average, a little bit watered down, but still fine to drink. The coffee torte was very strong and the cake was good as well. I never had a problem with the service, he was very attentive and the food came out rather quickly. This may be because we were the only ones there, though. Still, I recommend giving this place a try! It felt wrong being the only ones there to break the silence.
Tasty, authentic Polish food! Family-owned with friendly staff. I got the beef goulash with a cucumber dill salad and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Would recommend for a romantic date night or if you're in the mood for some made from scratch food ????!
