Had to go order for 3 that was to be ready in 30 minutes, got there around the 30 minute mark & had to wait for order another 25 minutes. Asked for sure if everything was in the bags & worker said "yes, I checked it myself". When got home a order of garlic bread & one salad was missing. First time ever this has happened. Otherwise food was great. Have always had good food & service when there to eat.
Was nice and clean, we were there for lunch, and they had many options for lunch specials and were very affordable. The one complaint I had was the spaghetti was cold and a little flavorless. Was disappointed in that Italian restaurant had sub par spaghetti, but would go back and give it another try someday.
Our server on 7/6/23 approximately around 6:30 p.m. was Suzanne, she was a great waitress/server. She made sure we got our refills when we were empty. The food was FANTASTIC!!!! I had the Fettuccine noodles with Shrimp and crispy chicken, Alfredo sauce and Broccoli and a salad. Oh and the salad was FANTASTIC too!!!! I definitely recommend Angelina's to anyone. Especially if you are looking for that great atmosphere and warm welcoming feeling and great service and also that Olive Garden feel/cravings, this is the place to go!!
Very nice place to go to, the staff was very friendly and and service was great. We had ham and cheese balls as an appetizer. My wife had the California burger and I had the grilled buffalo chicken sandwich. Our drinks were the strawberry daiquiri, margarita, and amaretto sour.
The atmosphere, for a bar, was incredibly nice. If you wanted, you could choose to sit on the restaurant side however.
The food was A+ for sure and it was legit hearty portions. I got the large spaghetti with cheese curds and it was amazing! (Tip: their wild rice soup for a side is more than worth it!)
My friends got the angel hair shrimp and prime rib, which they professed to being worth it.
Service was a bit on the down side, but we got everything we needed in time.
My family has been going here since I was little. I remember the garlic bread slice being bigger than my head, lol
They did not disappoint! My chicken parmesan was amazing & the garlic bread slice was huge! Not as big as my head anymore, though. ????
Chicken parmasean pasta was very runny, chicken was just chicken strips cut up and not a breaded chicken breast, Cajun chicken pasta was just chicken Alfredo with way too much Cajun seasoning poured on top of it and was horrible. The waiter brought us all to go boxes about 7 minutes after getting our food and felt rushed to get out of there. The appetizers were great though.
I think this is the best restaurant in Alexandria! We went here yesterday for dinner and ordered two pastas and a burger. I think I got something called the angry shrimp and sausage pasta. It came with a piece of garlic toast and was absolutely delicious! The customer service was also good and friendly. Our server was attentive and came to check in on us and refilled our drinks when they were half full.
