I wanted a hair cut! Thought it would be a good salon as per the reviews. I ended up just washing my hair & walking out! And I had to pay $10 to the lady who washed my hair, who didn't even deserves it!! I had to stop her half way because that was the worst wash I ever had!!! Her attitude was nasty, she was dripping water on my face- literally water running down my face and even burned me with hot water!!. When I asked who was going to cut my hair she said she doesn't speak English. Fine. I had to stop my her stopped her before she even finished washing my hair!! That's how uncomfortable I was with her! When I found she was going to cut my hair that's when I was like nope! I was going to give her $5 for her time but they said $10! I didn't even want to argue, I was so annoyed and mad. So just dried my hair for 5min. and walked out in the cold with my wet hair!!! I ended up at Fabiola's down the block! Service is 100x better!!! PS. you need to speak Spanish to go there for.
Great salon and have done my hair, my daughters and now Grandma wants a chance!
Don't believe the hype! 1st and last time! Went for a wash and blow out. The woman who washed hair barely washed it. I even told her don't be afraid to scrub the scalp. It felt like a kid washing my hair. The place looks nice but, they don't do hair as well as the reviews say.! The woman who was blowing out my hair would walk away then so a little hair then walk away and chat then come back. I left there feeling like I wasted my time and money! I would rather travel a little out of my way to go back to Brooklyn!
I went to Angela’s Salon 3 days ago to highlight my hair and I Love it!!! She did an AMAZING JOB with it, she pampered my hair none stop from beginning till end, was very much on top of it. Very friendly place, very clean and a Lovely environment. I will definitely recommend it!! You guys should go and check it out too. ????????????????
I have only gone once but Angela did a great job. Very fast and my hair lasted 3 weeks. Barely had to retouch it. I will be going again and seeing if I color or add more highlights. I had a hair dresser for years more than 15. But she started messing up my hair. I rather pay more for better quality.

I do regret coming here, but it was my fault for not asking before stepping in. I was charged $30 per child (3 children) for a basic children’s hair cut with no wash or dry.
I do feel like I was overcharged. Even the nice stylist discreetly asked Angela if she was sure about that price.
I observed two different stylists, and I noticed two different methods of cutting girls hair. The lady with the glasses was very nice, and patient. She made sure to wet the hair before cutting. She took her time and did not rush. I think she did a good job cutting my older daughter’s hair. Unfortunately, my sons hair was left uneven short on the top and long in the back.
When Angela began cutting my younger daughters hair, she did not wet it at first. She combed it and cut the length while it was dry. It seemed as if the haircut was rushed. She seemed annoyed at my daughter for tilting her head in the beginning but I don’t think she understood my daughter was just nervous. Eventually my daughter calmed down and sat still. Unfortunately the bangs were left uneven and she left hair all over her eyes.
If you want great quality done on your hair this is the place to come to Angela salon on Maspeth ???????? Everyone is so nice and friendly to their clients they make you feel like family so come on down. I been coming here for years.
