My partings are big a crooked in the front, and not enough hair was used for my braids, also they didn’t braid them all the way down so some of the braids unraveled!! I will never go back there!!!
It’s crazy because they are saying that’s not their work but posted pics of my hair on their website!!
I had a good experience here at Angel. The team of ladies are focused, friendly, professional ,and work together well. Great atmosphere and positive vibes bouncing around. Staff is very honest and welcoming. . I left much better than when I showed up. Mind,body and soul.
I’ve gotten my hair done here more than a few times. At first it was great service and quality work. But after my last 2 experiences I WILL NEVER BE BACK. When I got my hair done in tree braids last October my braids came unraveled and slipped out after only a few days while I was on vacation. I really had to spend hours putting my braids back in instead of spending quality time with my husband for our anniversary. After that I told myself I wasn’t going back. But against my better judgement I gave them another chance. Well today I had an appointment at 9am. I started getting my hair done at 9:30am. It was not a big deal bc I figured I’d still be done in a reasonable time. NOPE! I didn’t leave the shop until 7pm! I think I can speak for most when I say the point of going to an African salon for braids is to get in and get out in a short amount of time and still have quality work done. 10hours in any salon is unacceptable. I could have had someone come to me and do my hair in the comforts of my home for less money and time I spent today. Instead I spent an entire day in a salon watching people walk in well after me get their hair finished before me despite me being a repeat customer WITH an appointment! The owner of the shop literally stopped braiding my hair to braid one of her male client’s hair who had come in 2days earlier than his scheduled appointment! She continued to stop to take one walk in client after another. She also REPEATEDLY stopped to talk on the phone. So for most of my time there only 1 person braided my hair and she was visibly pregnant, PREGNANT. So I felt bad for her having to work so hard to finish my hair. I was sore, hungry and tired so I can only imagine how she felt smh! I got micro like braids with wavy synthetic braiding hair. I expected it to take some time but definitely not 10hours. Especially since there were 5+ braiders there at once taking walk in clients and finishing them before my hair was done. It’s clear to me that this place is driven by $$. “Take as many clients as we can. So we can make as much money as we can in a day.” There’s no regard for customer service. I understand needing to make a living but the clients need to be a priority and considered as well. I MISSED A WORK MEETING BEING IN THE SALON ALL DAY ! My braids turned out good but not worth spending my whole day in the salon. Because I could have gotten them done at home or did them myself (I am a licensed cosmetologist).
I had a Great first time experience at Angels. They are kind and did my knotless braids in 2 hrs 15 mins. I look forward to returning in 6weeks. My God bless each one of you????
Those African Aunties did their thing a braided my thoughts. I asked for the trending French curly braids and they immediately started working on my hair. I had an appointment though it’s was $170. And they did a quick job. I only trust Africans to do my hair. Lovely establishment and family oriented. The owner and braids are good people. Do not hesitate and book with them. No crazy deposits and are just overall nice people and good vibes here.
Angela is great. She has been doing for hair for years. I appreciate how she takes care of my hair and aims for perfection.
Happy with the results. My experience was pleasant. The braids didn't take too long. The young lady that braided my hair was very kind and did everything I asked. I wanted tight braids and I got them. Hoping they will last a month. Great price! I will be coming again. Thank you all.
I absolutely love coming here! They are quick and professional! Horlena is my go to braider! She gets me in and out. Im never there longer than 3 hours! And their prices are very reasonable! And the owner Angel is a very nice lady! I love the ladies here! I’m tender headed and they take that into consideration!
