I went this morning to have Andy and his team look at my van. I thought I had a bad catalytic converter due to a loud rumble and rattle when I would crank the car and turn it off. They said it was just some loose bolts that needed to be tightened up. They were very quick and professional! Great job guys! I appreciate you for not taking advantage of a single mother of 4 children!
Guy didn't seem to care about my best interest. He's seemingly just there to change parts. I told him my goal before bringing my 2010 Tahoe there, explaining that it had a check engine light for catalytic converters. I brought him a full y pipe from a 2007 Tahoe that did not have catalytic converter codes. We agreed that this may solve the problem but also had a slight chance it may not. He let me know that after removing the old cats, they had been gutted (without ever showing me the gutted cats). After getting my vehicle back, I now have the same codes P0420 and P0430. Also, I noticed that the pipe he welded in was basic material and 1/4" smaller than my factory exhaust (would have rather kept the factory flange). Called him to get his opinion on the reappearing codes and to see if he had my old oxygen sensors. He said he threw away my sensors (worth ~$150) and wasn't concerned at all about the codes, now explaining that the 2007 may have different parameters for the oxygen sensor monitoring, which was never explained prior to the repair. Take your vehicle to someone who cares about the outcome of your repair and has your best interest in mind, not here. I'm not impressed at all. But he did replace the part, so I'll give two stars so that I'm not being too harsh. My advice is to have more consideration for your customers, show the parts you explain to be bad, and return the parts the customer supplies if not used.
I loved this guy. He was friendly and he made sure to tell you what, when, and why. I listened to him tell others what still needed to be done or will need to be done soon. Not once did he try to upgrade sell or push for the jobs. Just told them what was needed and answered any questions they had.
I showed up around 11:00ish and gone before 12pm. No appointment or even a phone call. The office/waiting area is clean and relaxing.

What a terrific place to have your car fixed! I'm a single female who went there by myself and the young gentleman who took care of my car, was extremely polite, very knowledgeable and never once tried to give me bs. He even was able to fix it for hundreds less than we originally thought! I will never hesitate to take my car back there! Same day service with a great attitude and huge smile! Andy had my tire ordered and fixed within 24 hours. Great customer service and a fair price. And as a bonus the business and bathrooms were very clean :)
Took my old beat-a-round truck to Kenny's for a new muffler and tail pipe. They did an excellent job, and provided the friendly hometown service you expect to receive. I was very satisfied with the quoted price as well. They've been doing business in Shelby for a long time and I have always heard great things about them. I highly recommend them!
