Best WLM Reviews
They greeted us as soon as we came in and sat us right down. It was busy but not too bad. Me and my wife both opted for the buffet. It wasn't too bad it could have been better. How do you mess up a salad bar it has everything. The chicken was really good, as was the shrimp. The rest of it was just kind of bland, and it had no flavor if I'm being honest. The price was $19.99, which overall isn't a bad price for this restaurant, but there's no way we got our money's worth. I just wasn't that good. I don't know that I would go back to this location. But it was spotless. I'll say that, and the server was extremely friendly and good.
This place gave a lovely Amish Vibe and had a great variety of foods on the menu. My mother and I both ordered the chicken which was delicious and crunchy skin. Mashed potatoes with gravy were AMAZING and the green beans too. The noodles side tastes just like chicken noodle soup without the soup. The building is very clean and peaceful with a beautiful view of the hills outside. Also the bakery was closed and the cashier was nice enough to ask if they had some coconut cream pies left and went and got us some which was really nice of him.
Such a wonderful, unique place, settled into the rolling hills of Ohio's Amish Country. All of the home-cooked goodies you can think of if you are dining in their beautiful restaurant. I chose the buffet on Thanksgiving that was loaded with all of your holiday favorites, including apple pie, pumpkin pie, and carrot cake. The service could not have been better, as our waitress was so kind and always greeted us with a smile. Attached to the restaurant was a bakery that had anything you could think of. I would highly recommend The Amish Door anytime you are near Amish Country in Ohio...you will not be disappointed!
Most of the food had not salt or seasoning however, everything was cooked well and fresh tasting. As a trucker whom eats a lot of canned food, this was a relief. The hostess and waitress were friendly and answered my questions to the best of their knowledge when asked. It was a spontaneous decision to eat here and I’m glad I did while I was in town delivering a truckload of wood. If and when I come back into town, I would come back to eat here again.
One of our family's favorite places to go for lunch / dinner. We usually get the buffet because of all of the delicious options. The food is always fresh and hot. Their broasted chicken is second to none. You can always find something good. It reminds you of going to grandma's for a Sunday dinner. They also have an attached bakery that sells fresh baked goods as well as some of the sides served in the buffet.
First time visiting this restaurant. It's very clean. Excellent food and friendly employees. Highly recommended.
We opted for the buffet @ $20
It included a nice variety of hot foods (3 types of potatoes) ! The salad bar had a few desserts with puddings. Great rolls and a bakery to shop at for more delicious rolls, breads, pies and other wonderful tasty treats! We've driven over an hr for a delightful treat for your taste buds! Don't miss the opportunity for a great meal. There's a regular menu with salmon and fried chicken! Enjoy!
Went with our Joy Group from St Stephen's Lutheran Church in Stow, Ohio.
The fried chicken was very tender and moist.
The baked sweet potatoes come with an amazing cinnamon butter to pour on them.
The rolls were hot out of the oven.
My husband got the Grand Buffet which had a good selection and included the salad bar.
