Best WLM Reviews

I would highly recommend not staying at this hotel. It is less than desirable.
When you walk in, there is a musty smell and it's throughout the entire hotel.
Everything in our room was very outdated. The head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed and we could not figure out why other than the fact that it's old and outdated.
Jennifer, I had to use four of their pillows to get the thickness of one regular pillow that you would find at other hotels.
There was something sticky all over the back of our door. I'm pretty sure it was ketchup but it was a lot of it and it was sticky.
The lamp that have the plugins on them are almost impossible to be used because you can't plug a block street into the outlet.
There was pieces of carpet that were replaced with different colored pieces of carpet
There was a lot of damage to the furniture. The chair and the couch that had fabric on them were very stained and very worn.
The shower head was disgusting and deny. I very much water that came out of it and the bathtub was a very brown color the entire.
There was something all over the ceiling in the bathroom. Unsure what that was. There was hair all over the floor in there.
In the pool it seems very dangerous. It has pieces of wood covering the drains and the drain holes and it's splintering so at best if you didn't fall through it you could get a splinter which seems very dangerous for kids.
A remote control was taped together and there was hair and other stuff in the tape.
If you want to get off the highway and relax in a clean room this is NOT the place for you!! The bathroom was so gross I don't think it has been cleaned!! There was things all over the floor never vacuumed! When I talked with manager I got ohh really then she was mad!! We didn't dare eat the breakfast. The whole place was so dirty!! Very sad these to be a great place!! I took all the sheets and pillow cases off the bed, put a bunch of soap in the tub in hopes that the next person will have a clean room. But don't hold your breath!!
The beds are terribly uncomfortable and lean to one side. The breakfast was gone by 7:00 am. The parking lot is full of potholes. This AmericInn needs a complete renovation and upgrades. The gentleman at the front desk is not the friendliest person.
Terrible experience. Pool area is absolutely disgusting. The bathroom looks like it’s never been cleaned, and there was feces on the floor. Trash can next to pool was overflowing with garbage and there was vomit all over the floor in various places that had clearly been there for some time. I would NOT recommend this place.
Positive: Staff were friendly. Negative: The breakfast was terrible . We were not expecting much but the muffins were too hard to bite into. There were only 2 danishes out. Don¿t provide breakfast if you¿re only going to offer poor quality. The place needs a hot tub . Very disappointed . Negative: ""
Stayed here because it was convenient, right off the interstate. It served it's purpose - gave us a place to sleep for the night before pushing off again in the morning.
Here are a few observations of note:
1 - Front desk help was not terribly helpful. We called ahead to confirm a late check-in and the gentleman didn't bother to tell us that there is major construction on I-90 going on in the area through 2024 and we would have to take a back road off a different exit to access the hotel. That would have been nice to know since we ended up having to drive beyond the typical exit a few minutes and then come back from the opposite direction since the west-bound exit was closed.
2 - Everything at the hotel seemed mickey-moused. Really poor shoestring budget repairs in the rooms - loose fixtures, warped doors that wouldn't close, etc, etc.
3 - Pool closes very early and opens late, so the kids couldn't swim at all, to our disappointment.
4 - Breakfast was meager and clearly stuff had been placed out for eating that was not fresh - the seals on the tops of the butter packets weren't even attached, so the butter was exposed to the environment, whatever that may be. This isn't necessarily a reflection on the kitchen worker, she was very good/pleasant and diligent/attentive, but she only had limited resources to work with, clearly.
My issue is this - we needed a place to lay our heads, which we got, so for that, this hotel is adequate and met our needs. However, the rooms were over-priced - do not pay more than $100/nt to stay here (I did, unfortunately). This is a motel essentially and should be priced as such.
Average hotel, clean and showing some minor wear. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Check in was reasonably fast for not have a reservation. Conveniently close to I-90, but didn't notice any highway noise overnight. Average breakfast with slightly above average coffee.
Something has to be really bad for me to take time to write a negative review, but I Do NOT recommend this hotel!! We stayed for one night while driving home after a vacation. When we arrived at the hotel just after midnight, we found a note with our name and room number on the counter. Along with the note was a room key and an invoice for our room with all our information on it (sitting in the open for anyone to see). We did not speak to any employees for our entire stay, although we did need extra blankets and tried to find someone to help us. The hotel had a musty/dirty feel and smell to it. Breakfast was terrible so we had a take our family somewhere else to eat. There was finally an employee behind the desk when it was time to check out. We waited behind a gentleman while she helped him with a problem. When she was done, rather than help us, she answered the phone and continued to book a birthday party at the hotel. After waiting for too long, we finally left without checking out. Possibly the worst hotel we've ever stayed at...
