Best WLM Reviews
Came here twice. Once in the morning to pick up some donuts and pastries. It was fine, though felt stale and old. Came back for dinner and I liked the giant map hanging from the ceiling cause I'm a map guy.
The food was fine. We all got safe choices, and it was like a diner or Denny's type food. The service was rough. Waiter was friendly but service was slow as hell. 20 minutes for two drinks we ordered? To be fair our waiter was serving food to some guys at the bar 50 feet away so I guess it was a rough night for staffing.
This place isn't terrible. But it's not anything worth raving about
I had a delightful experience at the America breakfast. The perfectly salted omelette with mozzarella cheese, spinach, sausage, jalapeños, and ham was a standout. The hash brown had a satisfying crispiness, although there was a mix-up with the bacon—I asked for regular but got it crispy. The apple juice was good, but my hot chocolate was well served . Despite my chocolate pancake being too chocolaty (which was expected!), I appreciated the overall quality. I'd rate it 4.6 stars, deducting points for the bacon mix-up. The staff was welcoming and very polite, adding to the positive atmosphere. ????
I stayed at New York New York and this was a fantastic option to eat in the morning, for dinner and late night. There was a line a couple times but don't let that scare you. They keep it moving pretty well. All of the food that I tried was very good. My favorites had to be the fries and the adult grilled cheese. Took the meal to the room and the fries were still hot and crispy and delicious! The only negative thing that I would say is that the hash browns didn't come out crispy even when I requested it. I kept going back though. Even took donuts to go! Eat here.
Chose this resturant due to the variety in menu items. The ambiance is cool with neat artwork representative of American cities/states. Unfortunately, service was fairly slow as I only saw 1 waitress working. I saw 2 tables get up an leave because they were greeted timely. Menu is expansive with options but food was very bland, almost as if it wasn't seasoned at all. Chicken noodle soup was okay, cheese sticks were standard but not very crisp. Chicken alfredo was beyond bland and the steak dinner wasn't great. Portion sizes are large and easily shareable though. Probably won't be back.
Unique sculpture of the US is the showcase of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food is inconsistent . The garden salad was excellent with mixed greens absent of any wilted leaves which is hard to do because mixed greens can go from fresh looking to rotten looking in a matter of hours. The dessert, apple pie, was also delicious. The main course, steak, was dry and tough and flavorless, sort of like chewing a straw hat. The staff, from the host to the wait staff was excellent on a busy day. Vegas has tons of places to eat so there are definitely many better choices.
The night I went was pretty quiet. Good food overall. My pasta was a tad bit too salty, but ok overall. Really like the American States display.
While the breakfast is always delicious and the service amazing. We are so disappointed that they changed the ever so delicious cronut that used yo be better than those we had in NYC! It is now a version of a filled iced croissant that is lack luster to say the least! Although very flaky, it was dry, the icing was too sweet, the little filling we had was a thick, tasteless, gelatinous goo. It is shame as this was a staple of our yearly trip. The entire family would frequent this establishment each year because we shared our love of their cronuts!
Came for brunch and ordered their enormous fruit plate. Considering how stupid expensive everything on the strip is, this was a great deal, and surprisingly good quality too. My kiddo thought their chicken strips and fries were delicious but the poor guy was starved as it took about 40 minutes from sit-down until food on the table. Picked up some donuts for the road and are them the next day - yummy and nice presentation!
