Best WLM Reviews
While staying at the Ocean Casino and Resort, we chose this restaurant for dinner.
Our meal included a variety of delicious dishes: grilled shrimp, scallops, lobster, chicken, and lamb. We also indulged in chicken paella and chicken stew, all complemented by refreshing white wine sangria.
The diverse menu and exceptional flavors made for an unforgettable dining experience. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and taste of the food. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal. Highly recommend!
Tapas style Spanish restaurant and bar located in Oceans casino. Food is brought out family style, as it’s cooked. It was beyond delicious. Highly recommend the wagyu steak and seared tuna.
Chef Garces is on point with this restaurant! We had the Chef Selection which was a variety of several menus items. All were delicious. Well seasoned. Well timed. The drinks were delicious. Margaritas of course. The service was excellent. Our servers were friendly, informative and appeared to be having fun which makes a difference in the dining experience. I highly recommend this place. You're going to drop a shiny dime but it's well worth it!
Unfortunately the first Chef Garces restaurant I didn't really enjoy.....
I love Chef Garces but unfortunately this wasn't a hit. A bit on the overpriced side, but the restaurant amazing beach views has a lot to do with that. the food was actually nothing special. take a look at the cheese and meat platter photo. Some dishes like the patatas bravas were just average but presented with flair. the Zarzuela was extremely salty.... the best items we ordered was the jamon ensalada and the drinks.
What a great dining experience! We ordered the Chef Selection Menu for a fixed price, so we could try and share many different things. Everything was delicious! We requested a window seat away from the casino noise and they were very accommodating.
5 stars all around. I have Been here on many occasions most recently for Mother's Day brunch. The buffet was delicious and drinks came quick. Our waitress Amanda was great
The restaurant is astetically beautiful, and we were seated in a cute booth that overlooked the beach. We ordered 3 tapas and seafood paella. They also bring out crispy, thin Flatbread to the table to accompany a tuna spread. 3 out of the four dishes were overly salty. The best tapas were the crab stuffed peppers. The paella took 45 mins to cook, and the wait didn't seem that long when it finally arrived. Paella was decent but not amazing in terms of flavor. Service was horrible. Our server took over 20 minutes to check on us after the paella was brought to the table, by that time, we were halfway done. We never got our waters refilled either. We wouldn't come back because there are so many restaurants in Atlantic City to try.
My wife and I recently had dinner here for our first time for her birthday. From the moment from the host stand, the hostess initiated with a kind remark and best wishes for my wife’s birthday. Our server Andrew was also fantastic. He was polite, tentative, and well informed as he guided us in how much and what to have for dinner. And the recommendations were fantastic from the lobster, flatbread, and salads. Not only the food will bring us back but more importantly the service will.
