The crust is awesome. The pizza was served very quickly. Staff was nice . We had the Alfys royal. Different combination but it was amazing!
We have always loved the pizzas at Alfy’s, and since all of the ones near us have closed, we decided to go here after picking my son up from camp in the area. We were happy to find out that the special for the day was two medium pizzas for a certain price. Unfortunately, the first impression we got of the guy behind the counter was not positive. He seemed impatient and unfriendly. After a few minutes, we decided on toppings and which beer to get, and sat down. The pizza came in about 10-15 minutes and was fresh, hot, and tasty. Looking around the mostly empty place, I saw lots of flies and the salad bar was dirty and didn’t look like the ingredients were kept cold and sanitary, so I was glad we hadn’t ordered those. I don’t know why sit-down pizza places tend to be empty during lunch or dinner times which is too bad especially when they have tasty food. With friendlier service and better upkeep, this place would definitely get better ratings.

I went in to get my pizza and there was someone at the counter who acknowledged me, was friendly, and gave me service with a smile (blonde, undercut with piercings).
Eating the pizza and three slices in it’s delicious and everything is as good as I need it to be to have no complaints.
I think some people are just miserable and have to make it everyone else’s problem.
We went there with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. The table was dirty. My husband gad to ask for a rag to clean it. We had a highchair for the baby, but waitress took it. We waited 50 minutes for our pizza! My husband ordered a gluten free one. When the girl brought it she tilted the pan and it slide on the table after it was wiped with a dirty rag. My husband said he wanted a new one. She didn't want to take it back but she did. My husband decided he didn't want to wait any longer for a new pizza since we already waited 50 minutes. He had it taken off the bill. He ended up eating the gluten pizza which he should not eat. He is gluten intolerant. The pizza was aweful!!! Dry, hardly any sauce, cheese or topping. This was the worst pizza we have ever eaten. We also had to pay an $8.00 surcharge to eat there too. The place wasn't busy, but it cost almost $80.00 for 4 people even though we got the good deal! I will never go back there again!!
When I walked into the Monroe Alfy's they didn't have a line when I came in. Just one person being helped in front of me. The crew was nice, efficient and placed my order with ease. As you can see by the pictures the pizza and the cheese sticks looked delicious. Hot out of the oven and made it home still piping hot.
We’ve gotten their takeout before, and it was decent, so we decided to try dining in. Terrible experience. Worst pizza I’ve ever had and pathetic service. Waited almost an hour and the pizza had so little sauce, cheese, or toppings. It was so dry and practically inedible. Tables aren’t clean and there’s basically no service even though there is a service charge and you’re expected to tip. All they do is bring a pizza out and they can’t even do that right. Awful. Would not recommend.
We have been a couple of times for the lunch special half off Pizzas. It's a great deal. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere. Service was quick and the pizza and salad bar were pretty good.
Waited 50 minutes for the pizzas and there were many empty seats. Crust was bready, and there was literally almost no sauce or cheese. Spent almost $80.00 for 4 people and we didn't even bother to eat all of the two medium pizzas because ot was pointless to finish it; it was just so poor. Literally the worst pizza I've ever tasted, from the East coast to the West. It's really quite a stretch to call what we were served pizza. It was round, and it sort of resembled a pizza, but otherwise it bore no similarity to what pizza is supposed to be. Will never return.
