Best WLM Reviews
Some of the best food in the county! We’re from CT and visit annually and Al’s diner is a frequent stop while visiting! Nothing compares! Best poutine, sweet waitresses, amazing desserts, awesome seafood. 5/5!
Our family loves Al's diner, food is great, girls are always nice. I highly recommend to visit, you definitely will come to eat there if you prefer homemade food instead of fast food.
Went there tonight for the first time with my family of 6. Great food and great service!
Mars Hill, Maine —-
“Al’s Diner” has been serving up meals & smiles to locals and tourists since 1937.
The “super-smilin’-servers” are a big reason “Al’s Diner” is a “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite eatery, but good quality food for a fair price is right up there too.
Their fresh baked bread & desert selections has no competition.
“Run-A-Way Bill” was here!

Excellent service & friendly atmosphere. Prices were awesome & the food...omg so good. My over easy eggs melted in my mouth everything cooked to perfection. I'll be back for some pie!
Regular Diner atmosphere, good food, I had Haddock nuggets and sweet potatoe fries. Had to get a go box.
The Service and the food excellent. This is a prime example of a Mars Hill hidden Gem. No glitter outside to draw you in. A true word of mouth Blessing in a Quaint old fashioned diner setting with jars of 6 inch cookies adorning the counter. What's not to love. Worth you time, bring you best appetite as the portions are large.
Bon appetite!
I had the Spanish omelet, it was pretty yummy! The home fries were also good, though next time I might request them to be a bit more crispy. The homemade bread was great!
