Birria tacos are on point. Serving size is nice. The consume is delicious. Chori Pollo is already cut up which is kind of strange but still very good. Creamy guac and queso are tasty. Salsa needs some flavor but still pretty okay.
My food was great exactly what I expected for what I ordered. The service was friendly but wish he would have checked in a couple times more.. the atmosphere decor was great, music was good, but it was cold.. I had to get a blanket out of my car for me niece. Will go again but likely in layers

I swung by after work. I was dirty, tired, hungry and thirsty. It was a little after 6pm on a Tuesday. I was seated immediately. I mean I opened the door and the host ushered me right to a booth. I ordered and my food seriously came within 5 minutes. An owner or cook came by with a sample of a special sauce to try with my meal. It was too spicy for my taste, but it made me feel included and special.. like he personally approved of my meal selection.
The food was excellent. I ordered my standard Mexican fare, Chori Pollo, and a few hard tacos on the side. Everything was super fresh. Everything tasted excellent. I don't normally take pictures of my meals, but I didn't think my coworkers would believe how fast the food came.. so I texted a picture to a few of them.. they hadn't even gotten back to the hotel yet.
The tables were approximately 60% filled.. so it's not like the cooks were in the back waiting on something to do. They don't mess around. They get your food out in a hurry. I think it took as long to order as it did to get my food. . A loud and boisterous group was sitting at a table on the other side of the dining room so I had to have the waiter repeat himself a few times so I could hear him. Taco Tuesdays, I suppose. I'm in town for a few more days and I'll definitely be back.. with some coworkers next time.
Pictured is my food shortly after I ordered.. Chori Pollo. 2 hard tacos, no lettuce. Queso. Chips. Flour Tortillas (you get a choice of flour or corn), and Iced Tea.
First time visiting here, ordered Chicken Chimichanga for lunch, also asked if they had a hotter salsa. Chicken came out super quick (seconds after the salsa) which should have been a warning. Should have been more alert, was a few bites into it before realizing it was not fried at all, it was basically just a burrito.
Very generous with the meat though, in fact chicken was the ONLY thing inside the tortilla, including no seasoning whatsoever. Blandest thing ever—not what I'm looking for in Mexican food. Everything about the burrito was white. Thankfully the replacement salsa had some real fuego ????. So instead of crispy and spicy it was limp and tasteless. Not really bad, just really disappointing.
My coworker and I stopped in durning lunch time and were treated and sat immediately. Within a few min the place was packed obviously being a favorite spot for lunch. Our food was delicious, hot, and was brought out quickly. We will definitely return.
Agave has quickly become our new favorite restaurant! Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. We go out once weekly for family night out and it’s no question - we always go to Agave!
Me and my friend went into this restaurant today date 12-14-23 the guy who served up was vary flirty, just saying we’re 16 years old, my food was extremely salty and gross for a 13 dollar burrito! The employees were staring us down bitting there lips is an extremely sexual way! We went to pay for are food and where paying with card so went to leave the tip on the card and the server had the audacity to come up to us and rudely say thanks for the tip when we had no cash so we were doing the tip with card. All the men were coming up to us and being vary weird and asking if we were still in school???? we were bombarded with men flirting with us the whole time. Please be warned of this disgusting behavior and place. ????
