I came as a walk-in due to a cancellation of someone else and when I say I am so glad the other person canceled. Kyah and her partner were amazing. They were super nice, fast and smoked these braids. They make sure you like them and very affordable. The pictures really don’t do them justice. I have small knotless braids. Wasn’t even aware knotless can be so tight and secure. These will last me a good, long time. Thank you Kyah! Excuse the scrunchie dent I created

I got my hair done in Micros by Kyah and another lady in August 11,2023 I paid over $200 not including the amount that I paid for the hair. I was scheduled for 9am. The service did not start until after 10am mind you I was very pregnant. I paid extra to get my hair braided smaller and past my natural hair I was completely clear about what I wanted. I am a licensed stylist myself so I know the importance of this. As I viewed my hair while getting it done I continued to explain that the hair did not look like the picture I showed them. Not only that I brought 3 packs of hair in different lengths because as I explained I wanted a layered look. My husband had to buy and bring another pack of hair!
(They started with the shortest length in the back!!) ????????♀️I should have left then but KYAH reassured me everything will be fine. Two weeks later I had to immediately take the hair out because whole braids were coming out as I was removing my hair I see that the hair was not braided past my hair length which I paid extra money for to make sure that it was. I contacted KYAH and explained everything to her and sent photos she acted as if she’d fix my hair over as I gave her the opportunity to make it right and she brushed me off saying she had back to school appointments she was completely booked. Needlessly to say I had to cut my hair! And she never attempted to make it right. As a professional in the industry I would never treat a client so dismissively. I’m leaving this review because every time I think of this experience I get upset! And people need to know what they are getting themselves into. I posted pictures of my hair before what I wanted and what I got and what ended up being the result.
I use this salon for my son’s braids, they do a great job every time. Very professional, I don’t have a long wait, fair priced. I also use this salon for my knotless braids. They do a great job with those too. Never too tight on my scalp and alway neat. I really love the service here.
Kyah and her associate were amazing. My appointment was scheduled at 9:00 am, at 9:05 am, I was in the chair. The service was great and my braids were just like I requested. She acknowledged my edges were a little thin and did not try to grip them, like some braiders would try. I would definitely go back to her shop. Very Professional.
They did a great job at really messing up my day! I was told when booking the style would take 5 hours and i could get a wash for an extra $20. When I made it to my appointment at 8 the stylists didn’t arrive until 8:20 only two stylist arrived with three clients for 8 (unorganized/unprofessional) I asked about the wash and was told they don’t have any hot water! I asked was another stylist coming she said yes at 9. Kyah warmed water and washed my hair around 9. A stylist didn’t start braiding until 10am and didn’t finish until 5:30pm! Was anything done about the inconvenience they caused? no! do i recommend? NOT AT ALL!
**Update: Recently attempted to set up appointment in advance for my birthday for waist length cornrows but initially did not receive a response. After about 1 or 2 weeks, was advised that she’d let me know because she doesn’t really do appointments but never received a response. I would’ve preferred a yes or no response so I would not keep waiting on an update.

(Initial review) 11/2/23:I was a last minute walk in and I received exceptional work from Ms. Kyah and her sisters. This was my first time getting a braided bun/ponytail and I love it. They were all professional, very fast, very neat, and exactly what I wanted and needed. I definitely recommend her. This is my second time doing business with her and I’ll definitely be back‼️????
I booked the appointment on the phone based on reviews. I was nervous going in bc I have long hair that I am very protective over. I have t had braids in 10 years. I can’t speak to how long they will last but I can say she did these medium sized, waist length braids in 4 hours to accommodate me. They look great! I am very appreciative.
Kyah and her workers are amazing o called without an appointment and she got me right in I got stitch braids done and they are beautiful! Come See Her! You Won’t Be Disappointed! Thanks To Kyah and her workers. ????
