We had a great experience at A1A autocare. We brought our rental in at 4'30 on Friday and by Monday afternoon Danny had sourced and installed the new tire needed. He was very clear on costs and everything was very reasonable price wise. We would 100% recommend. Thank you to A1A Auto!

I would gladly give these guys a higher rating if I could. My mother was traveling from Canada for house sale accounting purposes when her car encountered transmission issues in Knoxville, losing its 5th gear. Despite our efforts to secure an appointment at various places, none were available, leading us to make the questionable decision to continue driving. It was then that we came across Dan's shop in the Coca area after an extensive search. During the initial phone call, Dan's humor and reassuring demeanor, especially considering the stressful situation my mom was in, convinced me that this was the right place to entrust the repairs to.

I provided specific instructions on where to start with the diagnosis, emphasizing avoiding extensive repairs unless absolutely necessary. Dan's shop respected this decision, maintaining open and transparent communication with both me in Canada and my mother on-site. The initial assessment revealed leaking transmission fluid and a seal issue on the axle. Dan promptly called, explaining the situation and the urgency of approving the repairs to get my mom back on the road. Throughout the entire process, Dan provided multiple updates and cost estimates, alleviating much of the stress associated with unexpected car troubles.

As the search for the axle seal proved challenging and it was already Thursday afternoon, finding the part locally with availability before Monday seemed impossible. However, Dan went above and beyond, locating the part all the way in Orlando. Rather than risking shipping delays or ordering the wrong part, he personally drove to Orlando to pick up the seal, offering this exceptional service at a fair price, understanding that running a business involves costs.

Not only did Dan arrange for my mom's transportation to and from a hotel, recognizing her unfamiliarity with the area, but he also demonstrated exceptional dedication by making the long trip to Orlando for the necessary part. I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with the level of service, care, and safety provided to my mom in a foreign country. Both Dan and Eric's diagnostic skills and customer service exceeded my expectations, and if I were a local resident, they would have gained a lifelong customer.

In fact, if they ever considered expanding their business to Canada, they would be welcomed with open arms. Unfortunately, our country currently lacks mechanics who genuinely care for their customers, their vehicles, and fairness in labor costs. This shop epitomizes southern hospitality, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dan and Eric for their exceptional services!

Dan is honest, transparent, and the work is solid. When we talked on the phone, he gave me estimates on a few issues that were likely. However, when he performed the inspection, he found a better, less-expensive solution. I don't speak cars, so I appreciate his candor and professionalism. Also, he's a Navy vet like myself. Hoo-rah. I will absolutely use his services again.

I highly recommend supporting this local business owner! As a single woman, it can be daunting to find an honest mechanic. After receiving an exorbitant quote from the Nissan dealership for some repairs, I decided to get a second opinion and stumbled upon Dan. He provided an honest assessment, confirmed the necessary repairs, and has been exceedingly fair and transparent throughout the process! Without a doubt, he is now the sole mechanic for all my vehicle's maintenance and repairs. 10/10

Fast, Friendly and Efficient! We were on I-95 when our Honda CRV started making loud noises. We could see that our oil pan cover was dragging (apparently at our last oil change near home just the day before, the pan hadn’t been secured properly). We got off the road and looked for the nearest auto service. The A1A owner looked at our car immediately and removed the pan so we could continue our trip safely. Since we were traveling, he recommended we make an appointment at Honda at our next destination. We were back on the road in a short time. I wish this place was closer to our home, because they really know what they’re doing!

Danny was outstanding! Our car died on I-95 on a Sunday, we picked his location to have it towed to. He had every opportunity to "over-bill" us, but he chose a more-than-fair price for all of his work. Not only was he as honest and helpful as could be, but the man is friendly and a great personality! I would go out of my way to have him take care of any of our automotive needs in the future, though we live a good half hour away. To find someone like him is like finding a gem in the desert.

12/23/2020: Just got back from my second visit to Danny. Affirmed my thought that this man is worth well more than the 45 or so minute drive it takes us to get to him, despite many closer shops and dealerships to us. Had a problem with a different vehicle that could easily have cost me the entire engine. The OEM solution would cost me around $1,300 that i don't have. After some thought and searching through parts he has on hand, he came up with a perfectly trustworthy solution that saved me over $1,200!!! This man is smart and honest, i feel ethically compelled to leave this follow-up review, and next time we have an issue with one of our cars around here, i will almost certainly be writing yet another.

Dan has taking care of my fleet of service trucks and my personal vehicles since opening the shop. He has been nothing but knowledgeable reliable and honest. He always goes the extra mile to make sure my vehicles are mechanically sound. He has a very streamlined business process, I receive quotes and receipt over email for easy tax tracking. I highly recommend him.

Danny and his team were super professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. Danny was very informative and communicated promptly to ensure we were always informed on some extensive repairs.
