Had a horrible experience. It's my understanding that they give free haircuts to Military service personal and that's great, only reason I gave 2 stars aside from that can't recommend. Set an appointment for 3:30 came in at 3:20 and sat until 4:15 without acknowledgement. That's over 45 minutes while people came and went. Yes they knew my name and yes they knew I checked in. Unacceptable.
Super kind, knowledgeable, and friendly staff, and seems to be a spot for locals. The ladies are an absolutely iconic set of people, especially if you happen to catch them together at the same time.
Great place for razor shave! He does an amazing job and stays open late.
This is a gem. I've had to cut my hair at least once a week for the past 20 years and never could find a barber I trust, so I learned to cut it myself. I was in a pinch and needed to find a barber and ended up here. I was more than impressed. He takes his time and makes sure it's cut to perfection. It's an art form that he prides himself with. You won't be disappointed.
Al does an amazing job with my boy's cuts along with a great environment. Glad to have him in Belle Chasse!

I've had nothing but friendly service and a great haircut each time I've come here. They've taken every precaution against COVID, including buy medical-grade air filtration systems for the shop. Convenient and easy to find location, I highly recommend Peter's for any military cuts.
First time going in today. Large sign out front saying "Walk-ins Welcome". Lady inside (super nice and friendly) said she was booked solid for the rest of the day and couldn't cut my hair.....however no one was in her chair or even in the barber shop. I am giving 2 stars for false advertising. It would be one star but like I said the lady was very pleasant and apologized...asked if I wanted to book an appointment for the next day.
