Ate here last night, after it was highly recommend to us. It did not disappoint, food was fantastic and service was excellent. Bar was filled with locals enjoying a fun night of Karaoke and had several tvs. It's not fine dining, but definitely one of the best meals we have had in the area during our 6 week stay. I had linguine and shrimp and my husband had steak and shrimp combo. Both were wonderful, and price point is good as well. If it had a waterfront location we would be here every night!
Let me say food , service, fantastic.
Just confused as.why they pay cook $14.00 hourly, charge customer for food, then charge customer a cooks fee for cooking customers food. No were have I ever in hawaii been charged a cooks fee for cooking my food.
Giving it a 4 because the loco moco was good. Gravy was probably from a packet but who am I to judge? Waited for my food order for about 5-8 mins. The place wasn't packed when I went there but there were about 5-6 people who came in later and they didn't wait long for their food. No public bathroom available (Burger King available across). Plenty of parking. Cash, credit/debit accepted. Fountain drink, alot of sauces to choose from, baggies available at the counter, alot of seatings and no seatings outside, it's nice and clean in the restaurant, two tv's in there and music that goes between island jam and hip hop. You can also see the chef cooking your food if you're facing the counter (side mirror).
A&G restaurant? More like A&G-mazing! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and boy, was it a delicious adventure.
The service was like a warm, comforting hug from your favorite auntie. Friendly, attentive, and ready to accommodate any quirky requests. The server even laughed at my dad jokes, which automatically earns them bonus points in my book.
And let's talk about the selection – it's like a foodie's paradise. They have options for every palate, whether you're into savory, sweet, or somewhere in between. It's like a culinary journey around the world, all within the cozy confines of A&G.
So, if you're looking for a restaurant that's the trifecta of awesomeness – good food, good service, and a good selection – A&G is the place to be. Just be prepared to leave with a belly full of happiness and a smile on your face.
Tried to call and order a pan of noodles for the next day. Called for like 30 mins, no answer. Went there and the cashier said if they have to much orders they don’t answer the phone. Three times in the past this has happened to me, this is the first time I walked in after trying to call to hear the pathetic reason.
Although their noodles are good, their steak is dry. I wish there was another place to get steak and shrimp on the west side. Closest location with a decent steak would be Ono steak and shrimp in Kapolei. I would take the drive rather than eat here.
I ordered a salmon dish with rice and salad. We were in a company of 4 people with lots of chatting and laughter. Wasn't paying much attention to my food, but
It appeared that salmon was not properly prepped and cooked. By the time we left to drive back to Honolulu, my mouth developed painful sores that lasted 3-4 days. No I don't have allergies. Don't order seafood dishes here! My friends ordered meat dishes and were fine. Giving a 2-star because one of my friends enjoyed his karaoke time
Disgusting hamburger meat is not ever refrigerated and cooked raw , took one bite and chucked in the trash , don't waste your time.
I have no complaints about the taste or quality of the food. But I've worked in multiple food establishments that require the use of gloves and hairnets especially when handling food. I sat there and watched of the employees walk around 1 glove on touch multiple surfaces (walk in handle, counters etc) with said gloved hand and go back to touching food that's seriously unsanitary.
