This 7-Eleven has gone downhill. On multiple visits, there either isn't any windshield washer liquid in the bin with the windshield squeegees or there is trash in them and the washer liquid is dirty and nasty. This is the case with all of them at every pump and on multiple days. Also, the last 3 times in a row I've got gas here, the pump didn't print my receipt and I've had to go inside and stand in line and wait to get my receipt. Each time I tried a different pump too, hoping I'd be able to get a receipt at the pump and not have to go inside. It seems both the windshield cleaner and the receipt paper at the pumps are neglected here..
The store is fine the employees are fine but they should not tell people that since they don't take the awards card or the money that you can put on your 7-Eleven rewards card on the app is the 7-Eleven by my house does not take or use any of the reward anything so they told me to go to 10th and MacArthur to that 7-Eleven because they are the seven 11 but they don't and I walked there a whole mile and a half for nothing other than that it's great
Long lines ....long lines. Left and went down the street to next location. This is a busy store.
Non of the Gas pumps I have gone to at this location print out a receipt. No one in 3+ months! The employees, the managers, the owners apparently don't care for I know I am not the only customer to complain about this... Today their was a man whose job was to block off all these pumps to work on them, and all he could say is that to tell the employees inside. Yet, another person whom doesn't care. The Lottery machine is faulty for the last month or so, still not fixed. Once, I tried buying food at a posted price, and the customer service person charged me more, because that was the Only option in the registry and REFUSED to charge me the price Posted.. I had to wait and have a Manager do what is Legal the right thing since the employee couldn't care less to do it right or to ask for help. I! had to request the supervisor or manager because she didn't care because it wasn't in the computer.
There is a Brand New Location about a mile from this location, and I am VERY surprised that this uncaring attitude of This location is still open, instead of forced to being closed down, Or New Caring personal being hired to take care of this place & fix all the issues to compete with the Brand New 7-11 a mile down the road.
Always having issues with the fact that they randomly do cash only? I don’t carry cash and not going to use the ATM that has a fee to use.???? Do yourself a favor & go to the new 7/11 down the road, or just go to OnCue.
Today, 12/11/23 at around 2:35pm, I entered this store to get drinks and snacks before my baby’s physical therapy appointment. I was told by an employee named Taryn to leave my normal size purse up front with them, and this was AFTER I had been picking items out in the store for at least 2-3 minutes.
I told her that my medication, money and valuables are in my purse and I do not feel comfortable with doing that. I am a diabetic that has problems with low blood sugars and I have emergency medication as well as anxiety medication in my purse. I sat the items down and had my fiancé take our disabled child inside because I was appalled at the behavior of the employee and didn’t want to interact with her anymore.
After he went in with our baby, he seemed to not be able to find the items, so I stood outside the door and told him where the items were. She told me I needed to leave the store. My fiancé asked if there were any guidelines to the size of purse that can be carried in. She had no answer.
I called corporate to report this incident and was notified that a case is being opened. I encountered the same issue with Walgreens on December 4th with the same purse and also called corporate after speaking with the manager. I am tired of being treated in a discriminatory manner and I will not be returning to 7/11 and will avoid 7/11 as much as possible.
I am attaching a photo of the exact purse I carried into the store today. It is 12 inches in height and 10 inches wide. I can understand backpacks, tote bags, duffel bags, but this is a normal friggin purse! I have entered this 7/11 and others many times with this purse for years without issue. And no, I have NEVER stolen from 7/11 nor did I intend to steal.
*EDIT TO ADD ADDITIONAL INFO* - I have been in this story many, many times with this same exact purse, as I have owned this purse since late 2016 and have lived less than half a mile from this location since late 2016.
One of the absolute dirtiest nastiest 7-Elevens in the city, trash, everywhere, needles on the ground around the back. Hostile night crew and on and on unsafe location.
The Staff was quite rude to a customer who had a special needs child. When the customer left with her child the cashier began running her mouth about just cause you overwhelmed etc. then the Asst manager and other employee sparked it further. who who got you this way. The cashier began talking about the mother and the child. Very Rude and unprofessional with a store full of people. I will be calling cooperate over this.
