Tacos ???? are on point! Ordered some Quesabirria & some Tacos all of it was yummy ! Customer service was good. Parking is free but sometimes gets crowded / pact at times. There is street parking available just make sure you read the parking signs for time limits and street sweeping, meter maids don’t play around the area.
This is one of the best experiences I've had out to eat in a long while the staff were great we will be back several times over we will also be recommending and bringing our friends and family back over here. If I could rate it higher I would. the food was hot delicious served quickly and the service was top tier. Thank you for doing it right!
My kiddo loves the birria tacos here and im from TJ so we Def have a soft spot for this place. I do wonder why each time we been there, its always empty. The music is a bit too loud and the quality of the food tje last time we were there was not like the past visits. Not a lot of flavor and even my 8 year old noticed the difference in size and flavor. Also, we paid close to 30 dollars for 4 tacos and 1 drink.
Everything was great. All meals were served quickly and excellent presentstion. I didn't know what I wanted and everything smelled great. The music was a little loud and the television had random things that didn't fit the atmosphere of the place. It was clean and the waiter was very attentive. Will go back again for sure.
Bland! Listen to the 1 star reviews! This place was very bland. Borderline flavorless. Which is shocking considering the culture being showcased. While they do speak limited English, if you focus you can understand them. Just point at the menu and be patient. Price is what brought this down to one star. Straw that broke the camels back. Come here on your off off day.
Took my wife and kids for tacos and menudo the tacos were good. the menudo tasted good but look like they just gave me the left overs, just a couple grains and little menudo. but the part I give it less stars is because of the waiter he keeped on giving my wife and I attitude when we asked for lemons, when we asked for sodas and when we asked for another taco for my kids, all 3 times he was rude and answered with a attitude. he acted like if he was overwhelmed because of all the people he was serving !come on we were the only people there" if your just having a bad day and your going to take it out on the customer just go home.
This is the best spot for birria in San Diego. The tacos are authentic street-style TJ tacos served with consomé and all the fixings including lime, cilantro, and onions. Plus, the Hillcrest location gives a modern twist to the classic Mexican dishes with the restaurant’s hip vibes and some reggaeton music.
It was a bit difficult to communicate, since nobody spoke english. The quesabirra/consume was flavorless & the meat was chewy. The horchata was grainy & very thick. I’m extremely disappointed, & still hungry!! I’ve tried different TJ 644 locations, & this was the worst by far.
