This is a great bbq place. Just what you expect it should be. Great food and nice staff. At times it can get pretty busy but for the most part it moves pretty fast.
This was always a place we went to with our close friends Pam and Dan. Added a pic I took of them on one of the visits.
Probably the best BBQ in Orlando. Just went here for lunch with my family and my daughters loved it there was plenty of options for my wife and I got to enjoy some solid brisket.
They have redone the inside since my last visit and the food and staff is excellent! We love coming here and have never gone wrong with anything on the menu.
Great BBQ, but they have become too price for the amount of food you get. They charged me almost $12 for 3 little ribs. See picture of ribs. As it was dinner hour, place was quit busy but moved quickly.
My husband saw a billboard advertising 4 Rivers & so we decided to go get dinner there. Unfortunately as expected- what the pic looks like on the billboard & what you really get are of no comparison. What is listed in the description on the menu board is definitely not what we received either (see pictures).
We ordered a ‘platter’ and shocking - instead of the selections all being in one container - they were individually thrown in a bag - the juices from the collard greens & green beans spilling all over in the bag as well as the juices from the brisket.
We also ordered a Johnny Rivers original ’Texas Destroyer’ in which we had a questionable ‘1 onion ring’ on it & it was supposed to have ’onion ringS’
The baked cheese grits tasted okay - but one was half the size of the 2nd one ????
Very disappointing visit, not sure we will ever return again.
** We decided to give them another try & it was great to see they made improvements. The sandwich was as the billboard pic shows & they actually put it in a sandwich box this time, and the meal was in a box as well. The food tasted great & everything was definitely warm.
Best establishment on university. This place is actually so insanely good. Such good value. Please gander at my kids meal slider and know it is not a full size serving but appreciate its beauty.
Not pleased with 4 Rivers today. Ordered for for lunch. This was $18. The meat is supposed to be moist. It is NOT. and look at that portion. A little slice and a half of dry brisket. Disappointing.
Food was so good, I had to stop by a 2nd time to get a to go order for the plane ride home. On my first visit, I got to sample the 2 types of brisket and burnt ends. I eventually settled with the burnt ends ???? and sausage. My sides were fried okra and baked beans. Their beans are some of the best I've ever had ????????. I'll be back every time I visit the area.
The food is fantastic. Best beef brisket I have had at a restaurant in Florida. The green beans were real good but the Mac and cheese was just ok with little flavor.
My wife loved the sweet potato and BBQ beans.
The place can get crowded and when it does it gets messy and not cleaned up very fast. You may need to wipe down the table but the food is worth it.
