Had a chance to stop into this long-established Jackson restaurant for a photo shoot. Owner Tom and chef Pauline were all helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a good mix and variety of food, this restaurant has classic appetizers along some great burgers and sandwiches.
If you are around Jackson, stop in and give them a try!
This is a really comfortable neighborhood bar. Nothing fancy but well equipped including pool tables. The surprise is the FOOD!! Top notch 1/2 lb burgers with all the trimmings you could ask for. And the rest of the menu is fabulous including chicken sandwiches/strips, taco bowl and MORE. My fav is the Hickory Burger with both ham and bacon. Great place for a casual but top quality meal and your favorite libations. They have live music as well.
Food and service was Great! The hickory bacon burger and the deluxe cheese burger and waffle fries are amazing. The service has ALWAYS been great. However...the building needs a serious makeover. Very small and outdated.
Bartenders were fabulous! They went above and beyond to cater to the customers! The band was amazing tonight, Spark! Thank you for making it real. I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a great night! Thank you!
We usually get delivery from here. Although we did go inside once to eat for some entertainment they had that day. The entertainment was great but the parking is terrible. Not enough paved parking. Had to walk through muddy parking lot , not happy about that. Its a small place and there was not enough servers for the large amount of customers they had. We waited almost an hour just to get bill so we could leave. If there was an emergency at that time of event we'd been screwed all trying to get out. Had to wait for multiple people to move just to use the bathroom and that was even going all the way around the tables since a the straight shot to the bathroom was going to be impossible. Any how the food is good. They do have some really good pizza. And when we want a good Hamburger delivered Brass Rail is the usual go-to. Really burger n fries n always still warm when we get it.
UPDATE: The Owner reached out to us and was super nice. If more owners cared like this guy the world would be a better place. Definitely looking forward to going back in and having one of their great burgers.
We’ve ordered food from here before and it was pretty good so we decided to dine in. When we walked in we were not acknowledged at all. We sat ourselves and waited for about 15/20 minutes and nobody came to our table, or explained how or where to order food. The bar was about half full and the floor was empty. There was zero reason for us to not be (at the very least) greeted. We got up and left. Prolly won’t be visiting again. If you choose to eat here I highly recommend DoorDashing.
My family and I went to the brass rail tonight for dinner! They had some live music, which was wonderful to listen to with dinner. The turkey club was one of the best I have ever had! The waffle fries were amazing, and we also loved the homemade chili. Great selection of food and drinks, and family friendly.
Great food and drink selection. The owner is an absolute pleasure and provides a stellar level of service. This is a must try hidden gem of Jackson night life. Live entertainment 4 nights a week as well as karaoke on Wednesdays.
