Pricey but very good- full flavors and they even had gluten free pasta for $4.50 more (come on guys it isn’t that difficult to get- please don’t penalize people for food allergies). Overall pleasant and quaint experience inside a historic Victorian mansion- original baroque tin roof and all.
Very good Italian food and the service was great. We had a large group and were seated upstairs in a private room. Very cozy. The bathroom upstairs has a full tub and shower if you need to take one before or after the meal, I thought about taking one but then realized I had one too many Blanton's and just washed my hands like a responsible, well adjusted human. Cool place!
Atmosphere was nice, food was flavorful, I ordered Brojoul and wished it was stuffed more, it was like a steak rolled with no stuffing, the cocktails were out of this world, wonderful.
I have several food intolerances and the chef did an amazing job modifying my dish so that I could order what I wanted for once, instead of what I had to order (if you have food allergies you know what I mean). The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating as well. On top of it all, the food was delicious. The ambiance on the porch is low key and classy, and the food and drink menus really offer something for everyone. Definitely a go-to place if you’re in the area.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The owners converted an old house into cozy spaces with quiet dining tables and a separate martini bar. The wine list is great and the Italian food amazing. There are several starters, soups and salads to chose from, and the main dishes are classic Italian. One of the things that makes it special is that the sauce is different depending on the dish.
My boyfriend and I make it a point to come to 22 Broad Street whenever we are staying nearby at Sunday River. Chicken Marsala is the best I've ever had and I also loved the Beef Braciole. Very generous portions, I never leave wanting more. Service is outstanding. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more.
Very good food, old house atmosphere, small bar and good service. I've eaten the Braciole and the Ribeye both were exceptional. Portioms of Parmigiana (veal or chicken) are huge but you can take some with you! Great beet salad, awesome wine selection and a cozy atmosphere. Be sure to make reservations during ski season and peak of summer.
We're from RI, where you can get excellent, authentic Italian food pretty much anywhere in the state, but especially on Federal Hill in Providence. This restaurant claims authentic Italian food and claims fine dining. We've been three times and have been disappointed, each time....The prices are way too high for mediocre Italian food.
