I had a great experience at 1881. My sleeve turn out better than I was hoping for. Robin spent the time helping me get my ideas out and on paper. She helped me finalize my idea with some ideas of her own, but she was never pushy or offended if I didn’t like one of her ideas. She was very friendly and personable along with Lee and Auto. There is a lot of talent here and they will make sure to match you up with the artist that will nail the style you are going for. I would highly recommend 1881 and Robin. But all around the whole staff is great and I’d recommend any of them to friends and family. Also I will be back again myself.

Amazing folks work there, if you need to take a break mid session just let your artist know and they'll accommodate you, My Wrath Dragon was done by Otto and My Cards were done by Ashlyn. Both really good artists
My wife has gotten a couple of tattoos from Robin, and they look great. I am actually getting ready to go in for an old tattoo repair and add to it.
A couple other friends have been there and they were happy with their ink as well. I am sure I will be too. I will try to keep you posted and add photos when done.
Update: The Upgrade turned out amazing. I have been back and have added 2 more to my collection since this one. This will be the only place I go for ink. Lee did the logo and main part, Robin did the trophy ( not pictured) and both did amazing. No need to go anywhere else.
Had been rolling around and working on designing my first tattoo for almost 3 years. Finally decided it was time. Went in to 1881 and had an absolutely amazing experience start to finish. Auto was a rock star to work with. He explained the entire process to me extremely well and then after making sure all my questions were answered and the location and design of the tattoo was just right, he let the ink flow. Couldn’t be happier. He even touched up the tattoo free of charge a couple weeks later. The entire staff has been amazing and top notch. I highly recommend them.
Lee and Robin are fantastic artists and shop owners. The husband wife duo dynamic of the shop makes for a good atmosphere. I've been tattooed by Robin three times now and will be going back to her for all of my color and cartoon work and plan to go to Lee for my black and gray dark themed work. Both the Baby Groot and Deadpool in the photo are by Robin. I trust them both with my skin!
Amazing piece of art. Auto or otto did an amazing job and was very kind and friendly guy. Anytime I had a question he would explain the what’s and why’s. He would periodically check in with me making sure I was doing okay on the more painful parts. Even had snacks and sodas ready for anyone who felt like they needed them. Overall great experience for my first art piece. I’m still telling people to go into you’re guy’s shop. You may have topped the owners skills on this one????????

Very clean shop and super friendly people. I came in to get a half sleeve scar coverup done on my arm by the artist, Crowbar. Unlike most parlors in the valley, 1881 is on their scheduling game, and were able to book me for a 5 hour session less than a week out. I think Crowbar did an excellent job, and I really enjoy his shading style, technique, and speed of work.
