Everything is great here! The only negative is you seem invisible to the host! But the servers are very eager to come seat you if he isn't attentive.
I love eating here.
Incredibly long wait to get our food. Understandably, they were busy on this Saturday night, but it took longer than it should’ve. The frog legs were cooked well but weren’t seasoned enough. The French onion soup was also bland and needed more salt, and the wine wasn’t cooked out enough. The Mac and cheese was just okay. The house chips were lackluster but the fries were good. The Mac and cheese noodles were mushy and overcooked, and the sauce was subpar.
Our waitress, Jennie, was excellent though.
I won’t come back.
Twice in one day (due to another restaurant having an issue, so, since lunch was good we went back for dinner.
Lunch: fried fish basket was good and plentiful. The grilled shrimp looked very good and the person eating it enjoyed. The chicken wraps got good reviews.
Dinner: Burger was fine... Nothing special but good. Someone had the steak and enjoyed. The fried green tomatoes went over well.
The secret to eating in Cordele
After completing a 9 hour drive down I-75, heading home to FLA, we were ready for drinks and food- and a return to 16East in Cordele, GA

Great atmosphere, service, responsiveness ,and the staff was constantly on the move.
THE outstanding part of the night was
Miss Jessica, the bartender!! Absolutely on top of everything- great temperament and a bar pro
Besides just alcohol, we thoroughly enjoyed the salads, signature house smothered chicken, great sauté zucchini and beef tips with mushrooms, onion and gravy

The oysters that I bought were extremely good. I also ordered a burger that I didn't get to eat yet but it looks good as well. Once I eat the burger I'll update my review as well.
Great spot for a small town. Dined in for lunch at approx $15/ person ( entree & apps). Three of the four entrees were good. The seafood platter was fried too hard( no pic). Nice amount of food for the money! The margaritas were good. Staff/ service was good. Will return!
The food was exceptional. The fish special with shrimp and gravy was just delicious. Service was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really southern. It’s not a fancy or quiet place, just lively. You have to like that.
We were there towards closing so sat around the bar. Kendra is an excellent bar tender, and she makes fabulous Christmas margaritas! The menu is quite diverse so will find something you like but is possibly needing a bit of focus to make the dishes great, not just good. Plenty of seating available, and a good covered area outside for private parties. Good location, close to multiple motels.
