I love this Chow Hall
It qualifies as a small area Chow Hall
The food is good, and if you be there early you get better food. If you go at almost closing time, you get more food.
The food is good so sometimes you will see higher up dining in. I meet Battalion Commander couple times and sometimes SNCOs.
I go in there with a to go tray. I ask for chicken I get a piece smaller than a chicken nugget. Go to the other line to the piece was so small to get a burger and they refused me Food. How am I supposed to survive eating a Nugget size piece of chicken you can only have one meat. This is the only chow hall that does this. It’s stupid!!!!!!!!!!!
Small but adequate chow hall. Nothing overly special. There is a fast chow section on the left side that also serves some famous breakfast burritos as well as your standard fast food to go. The right side is a sit down section but you can also take food to go if your grab the styrofoam containers in the front. The is limited seating area so just be warned that it may get packed but I have never experienced it completely full. The TV in the lower dining area is tuned to Fox TV.
I was there for the Marine 248th birthday party. The ceremony was beautiful. The people outstanding. The food was out of this world. A totally delightful experience.
This place sucks they never have food. The chicken is somehow worse than if I were to eat it raw.
Great Chow hall in comparison to others, the staff seemed very knowledgeable and were available every time someone needed assistance. The food was very well prepped and availble at a moments notice
rude Give marines a bad face, I tell them can I have a banana? I asked her at first, bc all fruit was behind her she pretended not to hear, ok whatever I go around and get it myself, She looked at my face like she saw a nasty grandkid and said you can only take one????. I feel our base pay you to work here , not pay you to teach me how to eat ????????
It's a hit or miss from my experiences coming here. I recommend arriving as soon as they open to get the best options and quality. For a small chow hall within walking distance of the barracks, it does a good job!
