Best WLM Reviews

Great Brunch menu with bottomless prosecco. I have been here a few times now - in the summer they do great bottomless aperol spritz! Definitely worth a visit for a 100 minutes of drinking and eating!
Pleasantly (though unexpectedly) the best steak in London! I attended a friend's leaving do at Zilouf's and the food was incredible across the board. The ambiance is really lovely - and for a fairly small place, they take reservations on a weekend which is a plus. Drinks are decently priced, service is really quick and friendly.
Relaxed bar atmosphere with non-traditional decor - a little bit of the shabby-chic look, but it's kind of too dark for my tastes. Good for casual drinks at the bar. The food is pretty good too. They have a 10 GBP steak special on Mondays, which is a good deal.
We decided to come here for a friend's 29th birthday and we were pretty excited about having a big Night out - especially following a fairly quiet and boring dry Jan! However, we arrived to find the place full of people at around having dinner! No atmosphere at all really. At least there was no queue at the bar and the mirror ball was fun. Who would want to party in the middle of a restaurant though? I would have appreciated it if they would have made it clearer on their website that this is predominantly a restaurant.
OK, this place just keeps going up in my estimation. A wonderful place with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, great drinks and awesome food.
Oh, the food. Strongly Thai influenced: spicy, flavoursome, imaginative, mouthwatering. I want to go back to try their entire menu.
The cocktails, whilst sometimes a little slow in arriving, are very imaginative. Flavours like smoked maple, lychee... there's even a whole section of spicy cocktails (with names such as "Thai me up" etc. :) And there's a 2-for-1 happy hour selection as well (6pm-7pm).
The quality of the service can't be overstated. Very friendly and helpful, and they hold themselves to very high standards. Our food was supposedly a little late arriving (some of us hadn't even noticed) and they spontaneously apologised for this and gave us another bottle of one of their best wines as an apology.
The last time I went was with a party of 12 for a birthday. They treated us very well indeed.
I can't recommend the place strongly enough.
The happy hour at Zilouf's definitely makes it worth a stop between 5-7pm. Selected cocktails are two for one, and they're not bad either. I can't remember their names (always the sign of a good night) but the elderflower and ginger liquer number was very tasty, as was the apricot and rum cocktail. Bar snacks of salted pretzels and fried squid were nice enough too, but nothing to shout about.
If you manage to get here early and secure a sofa on a Saturday night, I don't see why you'd go anywhere else.
I booked a table to have dinner with friends and was pretty excited to try their food after a great experience at 100 Hoxton. However, I got to there to find a huge crowd having a party. The table I had booked was indeed available and the staff offered me and my friends the first round of drinks, but who would want to have dinner in what had essentially became a club with people dancing, drinking and being loud around your table? I would have appreciated if they had phoned me up to cancel the reservation.
I had to change my review as I think the cocktails in be at one are now better plus the happy hour is till 8. Before I gave it 5 but I think they are not keeping up with the competition in respect of drinks.
Menu: cocktails change every few months and the quality is normally very good I.e. not full of ice and full of flavour. Food is a fusion of European and Asian. Quality is excellent.
Atmosphere: was chilled out, good relaxed lighting, music is too loud but this is unfortunately the same I. Be at one.
Service: although the staff appear to change more regularly they are always friendly. Food and drink arrive quite punctually.
