As a restaurant, I'm sure this place is ok to go for a meal because their food seems to be alright. Their grilled fish, I notice every time I visit, is a hit. It's almost like no one wants to order anything else.
If you're going there to hang out with friends, make sure to go on a Friday cause that's when the music is best. DJ Mindthegap never disappoints. They have parking on site, but it's limited, so you can either find parking on the streets, which is also a challenge, or you can park at Tesco next door, which is free for 2 hours. To be honest, it should be free during closing hours of the store.
The problem is when it gets crowded and people start dancing, tables and chairs are in the way.
The restaurant needs to be updated and redecorated. The bathroom door doesn't close properly and it was dirty.
Still, it's a good place to visit. The vibe is good.
If you're looking for a lively mature crowd, then this is your spot. The food, music and drinks are all on point. Excellent vibe too. And if you like fish, order the Tilapia and thank me later.
I didn't even get to taste the food. The service was so poor, I was made to feel like it is a favour to take my order. I had to leave with my friend after we finished our drinks. You can and should do better.
Went there for a 60th birthday party and enjoyed listening to the music. However, the ayamase did not look like what I was used to, and it was unpleasant. The restaurant is kinda outdated, and the bathroom smelled damp.
Lovely place with awesome vibes. I definitely had fun vibing to latest African songs. The DJ was awesome and gave us beautiful sounds and the fish was great.
First time there tonight... the food was great, music was upbeat and atmosphere electric... definitely go there again...
Great music, reasonably priced food and drinks. Bustling atmosphere at night over the weekend
Lovely family Nigerian restaurant that turns into a nightclub around 10.30pm on a Friday. The food is fabulous, the music is a mix of Afrobeats, old school 70s and 80s music.
Simple clean decor, and on a weekday the food arrives promptly. The only downside is that once the clubbing starts the wait for food is way too long - over an hour!! But again I stress the food tastes heavenly!????????
