Best WLM Reviews

We just got a coffee here, but the staff was awesome. They were closing up and done serving food for the day, but helped us make sure we found a place to eat as we were sore and weary from a day of hiking. Above and beyond, so friendly and helpful!!!
What a lovely cafe and staff. Called in after climbing Great Wernside in rather moist conditions. Lovely and warm cosy and the cakes were delicious. Reasonably priced too.
Superb cake! Only a little place that offers takeaway or you can sit in the small garden, with some sheltered seating. Dogs allowed in garden. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Cakes and soup all homemade. Offers sandwiches, tapas, melts etc. I had a lovely Ecuador hot chocolate and a delicious slice of homemade fruit tea-loaf with yummy Wensleydale cheese. Was so good, two ladies on a nearby table coveted it and both ordered the same. Would definitely revisit and recommend. Gets busy, may have to wait a little while for table service, but definitely worth it. Yum!
An oasis of cake and fine coffee in the middle of a chilly February day on a bicycle. Open when everywhere in Hawes seemed to be shut, and happy to lend me a pair of wire cutters to liberate my bike from a malfunctioning bike lock.
Despite the climb of Fleet Moss to get there, and Park Rash to leave - I look forward to a return visit.
What lovely ladies! Great food. A refreshingly different menu from the norm. Thank you. I couldn't leave without some flapjack, which was very tasty and therefore didn't last long, as I'd eaten half of it before we got home!
Great pit stop on a walk around Kettlewell or the surrounding dales. Friendly staff. Delicious light meals, coffee and a nice selection of beers.
A very nice stop off. Friendly and pleasant seating areas inside and out. We only had cake and tea, coffee but enjoyed the break from driving. Would not hesitate to call again.
Whenever I go to Kettlewell now I make a point of trying to visit this little gem. Always welcoming and I like trying the different craft beers to go with my brunch or lunch. Apart from the great pies, pasties and cakes the best thing in my book are the homemade toasts and melts. All so original and hand made to order . Deffo 5* food and the great atmosphere and "craic" between the staff always makes me smile.
