Food looked really good. But when I went to eat it, the rice was crunchy and the chicken was so old and dry, it was mealy and tough. The sweet potato fries were okay although they were old as well. Definitely not the fresh food I expected. Won’t be returning. Spent $50 for three of us to eat and we all left hungry.
I’d never been here before, nor have I tried this kind of food! I was pleasantly surprised. It’s different, a little uncomfortable for me, and delicious! The perfect thing to take me out of my comfort zone! The butternut squash soup was to die for- I’ve never put goat cheese in one, but it added such a different interesting earthy taste and texture so it wasn’t all the same. The roasted seeds added the perfect crunch. The rice was amazing- the chicken flavorful. My husband had his plain and loved it and I had the lemon garlic sauce and loved that.
Delicious as always! Love the salads. Such a great mix of flavors and it's loaded with tons of good stuff. Love the spicy sauce as well. Hot is just right the African Hot is definitely spicy. Get extra napkins for the runny nose. Delicious flavor though. The sweet potato fries are soooo good. I really appreciate how they're a company with a mission and try to do things sustainably. I wish more restaurants used fresh ingredients and real food. We try to stop by every time we're in the area. If there is one complaint is that my wife is always freezing in there. They keep it pretty chilly.
This place was a great find! Food was super good I got the chicken rice bowl and bread pudding and both were amazing. Definitely would go again! Staff were very friendly as well.
I was craving chicken and this was nearby. We got the half chicken with mild sauce, salad, rice, and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. The chicken was moist, but even for someone who likes spicy, it was almost on the edge of being too spicy. The rice however was the perfect mix of sweet and salty. The salad had a lovely dressing on it too. The soup was good, but not great. It was on the thinner side and could use more cream. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. It is a little on the pricey side for one meal and soup, but the food was good! The staff were nice and brought the food out when ready. They did a good job keeping the booths cleaned too!

They just raised their prices again. I spent $15 for a chicken bowl, didn't even get a drink.
The chicken was a bit overcooked but that's not usually the case.
At least it still tastes good!
The food was good, but the sauce is what makes it shine with flavor. Wonderful sauces, but not enough unless you pay extra.
Personally, for the amount of food (and sauce) you get, I think it's overpriced, and overrated. Granted, my experience was takeout, so dining in might be different.
