Today was me and my sisters first time and I was so happy to see that the food was self-serve. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly. Thank you I will be back !
Y’all. These folks just really played with my Uber eats order. I ordered roast with a side of collard greens & black eye peas. These folks put TWO small pieces of meat(“roast”) on the spot for sides. Y’all, one of ‘em was just a bone. I’ve never had roast with a bone in it!! The cornbread had eggshells in it!! They put all these dangone collard greens on my plate. Wasn’t no rice & gravy.
My family and I are from Ohio and wanted some southern soul food. We located Zion Delight Southern Cuisine and to sum it up in one word: EXCELLENT!! We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. Food was setup in a self-service manner. This gave everyone a chance to customize their meal with the wide variety of soul food. Everyone in my family said that their meal was great! They helped us plan our trip back to where we were staying in order to avoid ATL’s crazy highway traffic. My only complaint is that the size of their location is too small! Their food and customer service deserve a bigger location!! If you get a chance to eat here, I would highly recommend!!
This is maybe the best soul food I've had in my entire life. It's for sure the best collards, cause these collards know how to embrace and work with the bitterness rather than just fight it.
The oxtail was fantastic and the portion was big enough that I had to pace myself. The ribs were absolutely fantastic, and as a girl with a lot of Memphis BBQ in her blood, that's saying a lot. Staff was friendly and personable.
The cornbread's been mentioned in a lot of reviews, and you should believe them, most places don't make cornbread well enough for me to finish it, but here I ended up wanting more. The pork roast made me say "oh!" out loud. All the meat is fall off the bone, and dripping with flavor. The mac n cheese was great, tho not quite as fantastic as everything else. A small dent in the meal, but less than astounding is still pretty damn good.
This food sticks to your ribs and sticks in your mind. Definitely gonna make this a regular stop for me and mine.
I found this place on a whim and I like to see if a place can live up to the hype. I have been disappointed with so many soul food restaurants in Metro Atlanta. Zion Delight is serious! The hype is real! I received a warm and friendly greeting with instructions on how getting the foods work and what each dish contained. The truth about any meal is in the first taste and I tried the mac & cheese first and it was so good! The cabbage was tasty, the stuffing was very good and all of the meats were delicious! I had fried and baked chicken and meatloaf. It’s sort of buffet style so you can choose whatever you want. I would like to return and take a few people with me.
We came from NH and wanted real soul food , these men delivered and then some . The southern hospitality was amazing and the food was to die for . Hole in the wall with amazing values. God bless

Incredible! So glad I was able to make it to Zion Delight while I was in town. My meal was very reasonably priced, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and most importantly THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!
I wanted to eat at the restaurant, and it was a bit warm out, so they invited me to sit at a table in the kitchen where it was cooler. While I was there a neighbor stopped in to drop off a cake she had baked for the staff. The local mailman then came in to drop off the mail and he also sat down for lunch. It felt like a truly old school, neighborhood restaurant and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
