Best WLM Reviews
A classic old school mountain hangout, eatery, bar. Great food in big servings, tasty beers, reasonable prices. My go-to on the way from Mt Hood. The crinkle fries are well cooked & can be no salt (yea) but obviously a food supply item only above average overall. But look at the Ruben! My friend's pasta was amazing too. Lots of sports screens, hangout area, easy parking.
Stopped in for dinner while traveling through. Love the interior aesthetic, which is reminiscent of a 70s-era ski lodge.
The cheese bread was good, essentially a cheese pizza with fluffy crust and marinara sauce. However, the loaded chicken nachos would be a pass for my next visit, as they were dry and hard to eat since the cheese had cooled as one large mass.
The spicy hot chicken calzone was good, and much larger than I anticipated. I thought I could finished it, but only made it halfway though.
Hospitality was great! Overall, I’d return but be selective with what food I order.
This place turned out to be great!! It was a Monday night and nothing was open in town or at the resort except ZigZag Inn so we went expecting nothing much and it was some of the best pizza ever! The service was great. My friends said the spaghetti and pot roast were yummy too. So happy we went here!
Fantastic food and fantastic prices. Best restaurant in three weeks in the USA. Don’t try the large pizza unless you have a group of friends with you…
The history of this place is really cool. Don’t forget their shop and take a look at the other side of the street.
Very cool place. They stay open late which is great. Our waitress is super nice and personable. The food smell when you walk in makes you want one of everything. Prices are really good, especially for a more remote restaurant. Food taste and quality are just good. I think it would be better if they cut their menu in half and focused on making the remaining choices a little better.
Stopped by this place for dinner with a big group of friends during our recent trip to Oregon. The ambience was nice and we were promptly seated and menus were handed out. Wow - You name it they have it all on their menu. Pasta, pizza, sandwich, burger, everything is in there. We ordered their pesto chicken fettucine, fettucine alfredo, spicy chicken calzone (the best dish out of everything we ordered but it had a kick to it), ravioli, zig zag wings & garlic breadsticks. The food was okay. Almost everything we ordered was served with the same marinara sauce. The alfredo and pesto pasta dishes lacked seasoning as well. For dessert we ordered a dense chocolate cake which was decent. Food arrived quickly but they did mess up our wings sauce but we were hungry so did not send it back. All in all there are better places in Welches to dine than this place.
I lived in Zig Zag for 10 years. That was 20 yrs ago. I've really missed this place. The food is still amazing. The pizza is so good you can't miss it. Best food on the mountain and the prices are still reasonable. Definitely stop here, or you will miss out.
I can't speak highly enough about this warm and friendly place. The pizza, pot roast and pasta were all outstanding, all at a surprisingly affordable price. I don't think you can go wrong here.
