I've been working in Worcester for about 2 years now and I come here for lunch with friends somewhat often. Never had a bad experience, tried a number of their different subs and loved them all. It's never been super busy, I like the design/decor, they have a pretty good selection of unique Ziggy Bomb soda's. Definitely a little pricey but the subs are pretty filling. Waffles fries are always nice too. There's free parking around back as well. This is the only photo I have, can't remember the name of the sub though.
I was really looking forward to trying the steak subs. It was such a letdown.
The bread is fresh but just run of the mill compared to other places. Wish it could have been toasted.
The steak was very stringy and tough to chew. There were a few adequate bites where the steak actually tasted fine.
Boom boom sauce tasted great.
Onion strings were a tad greasy. Helped to lube for the hard to swallow clumps of grisly beef.
The staff was the best part of the visit. Parking isn't the greatest. Give the overall experience a C-.
Very good highly recommend. Sandwich was very big you can split. Cost was $16 so not cheap but huge. It is very informal. Like eating at a fast food place more than a restaurant. Will definitely being back again. There known for there different varieties of steak and cheese. Must go if your in mood for amazing steak cheese. They offer other great subs and sides
Delicious steak and cheese! I am super picky about my steak subs. The meat has to be shredded and not chewy in anyway. Ziggy Bombs killed it. 10/10
I had the Philly and now I can't wait to go back and try more. I also recommend the fries with boom boom sauce and of course wash down with a ziggy pop their own recipe! I want to try them all. Can't go wrong with strawberry tho ????
Went here hearing about it online. Me and my brother were in Worcester for a concert at the DCU center. Knowing all restaurants were busy around it, so I immediately went for this restaurant knowing that it’s further away from the crowd. And can I say it was the best decision I made! The subs were delicious. With great portion size and delicious flavors. You definitely can’t go wrong checking this place out.
I found this place on TikTok and couldn’t wait to try it and after trying my food, I was highly disappointed. The bread and the bomb sauce was the best part. The steak is SUPER chewy. There’s nothing special about the subs and I probably won’t come back but the customer service was excellent. They were very nice respectful and the food did not take long at all. Also, the atmosphere is great. It’s just the food that I wasn’t a fan of.
I wanted to love them. The photos look so good! Ordered a Philly steak sandwich and bacon cheddar fries. The fries were ok. Barely enough toppings to cover all the fries. Barely any bacon. Barely any scallions. Could have used double the amount of cheese.
The Philly sandwich was terrible. I’m a steak and cheese connoisseur. Everything about it was bad. The sub roll felt like hard foam and tasted like it too. The steak was overly salty and the taste of the meat was like some sort of bad roast recipe.
With a place like this you’re eating extremely unhealthy stuff - so it needs to be overwhelmingly delicious to justify it. It was one of the worst tasting and prepped meals I’ve ever eaten. It didn’t taste the way one would figure a restaurant dedicated to steak and cheese subs would taste. I’m sorry ziggy- cool restaurant with your brand name stamped everywhere. Old school rap playing on the tv was cool touch! But you need to get a different brand of steak, bread rolls, and up the price of the fries so they’re actually LOADED waffle fries.
I've been chasing this food truck for months and finally caught up to him .... They have one of the most interesting menus in the area. We ordered two specialty steak sandwiches with fries which we received just Under 10 minutes after ordering. Although the prices seem a bit steep at first, The sandwiches are definitely filling and undoubtedly worth it. Looking forward to the opening of the brick and mortar restaurant. Well done Ziggys
