Leah is an excellent hair stylilst. She has been cutting my hair for over a year now, and I always go to her. She understands my specific needs and is always helpful. The salon is clean and organized.

I went in as a walk-in, first time there. They took me right in. Helped guide me with the color I wanted. They worked together and colored and blow dryer my hair. It came out great. They saved my name and color so when I return they'll know exactly what color tone they used which is cool to me. I even earned a nickname (young mommy) lol the stylist were all friendly and worked well. Thank you Zig Zag for a good experience.
I got here every so often to get a cut and a perm. They are the only place that will perm a male's hair in the area and they are great at it.
I had my first haircut there last week and was super late for my appointment but they were cool with that. Friendly staff who did a great job. Definitely would consider going back for my next cut.
I have moved from NYC 7 years ago ans have yet to find someone to do my hair. I was going back to New York to get a haircut or anything done. Until I found Lia... she's incredibly talented. She is talented efficient and a true gem. My self, my daughter and my cousin who introduced me to her are never going anywhere else. The proof of her talent is that we all have very different hair. From corse to curly and fine to thin and fine and she works her magic with each one of us.... I just can't say enough.
As I was sitting on the styling chair I procured all the choices I had made up that brought me here. I came in a month in advance showed her the color that I wanted (purple) and made my appt and left. The day of there were a lot of people there and she proceeded to bleach my hair very hurriedly and rashly. Then she dyed ny hair to what I thought was purple because that’s what I had shown her and that’s what I asked for. I use glasses so I can’t see very well without them. Until I noticed blue and she then proceeded to gaslight and tell me that the purple would’ve faded to a copper/ red tone… of course it’s going to fade to that color red and blue make up purple. It honestly doesn’t matter what they fade to she should’ve given me what I asked for. I honestly wished I didn’t have to pay for the service but I’m not a confrontational person… my birthday was tomorrow and I wanted to have hair I liked instead I have zebra blue hair these wouldn’t have been good highlights even if it were in a natural tone. I also have inspected the hair more and it’s patchy.
They have great customer service and I like the way they cut my hair. Just right.
