Best WLM Reviews

First time to order from this place and I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, kofta wrap, 3 pieces of falafel and a garlic sauce. The kofta wrap was tasty and the meat was juicy, the falafel was dry not the best, chicken shawarma was average it needs more garlic sauce and finally the side garlic sauce was good. 4 stars is good for this place.
I was here last Saturday. The food is always delicious. My friend and I ordered the toon for two and shared it, took a bunch home. The next morning, I heated up my chicken kabob and it was still raw in the middle. I sent them an email explaning the situation and got no response. I could have gotten very sick had I not noticed. Another thing I wanted to add is the falafel is too dry! Other than that everything is always so good.
Highly disappointed and disgusted with the meals I ordered managed to only eat the rice and fresh bread! The chicken was rubbery and undercooked, whatever this sauce or seasoning is, was horrible. Hadn’t been in a couple years no interest in going back after tonight’s experience.
3rd negative experience here. Salad was really limp, tomatoes in the tabouli were almost translucent and flavorless, but the biggest let down in this falafel combo, was the falafel. They were really small (slightly larger than a gumball and completely cold even though I opened the box 2 minutes after ordering. This was the first time I’ve had a falafel that was white/tan on the inside and not pale green. Flavor was lacking, just tasted salty. Hummus was great!
Really great food, with a lot of vegetarian options. The plan at the register was super friendly and more than happy to offer recommendations.
Didn't realize they had been on diners, drive ins, and dives and they definitely earned the commendation.
Zaytoon used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Lansing! Sadly, this location has gone extremely downhill. Today I ordered a chicken shawarma platter with extra rice instead of salad. Not only did they give me only ONE small piece of pita bread, instead of putting the extra rice on the side like they would have the salad, they decided to fill half of the chicken side of the box with more rice, giving less chicken. I also ordered a side of fresh bread which stated that it came with two pieces, and received only one. Talk about cheap and tacky. When I called to ask about it I was informed that that’s just how they do it now. Needless to say, I won’t be back. There are much better, affordable and generous Mediterranean cuisine establishments to spend your money at. Skip this one!
Delicious vegan options. The baba ghanoush and tahini sauce are not vegan, so if you want to order vegan, exclude those. Some vegan options include falafel, veggie grape leaves, mujadara, rice (traditional Middle Eastern dish of lentils and rice), bulgar (bulgar wheat and tomato sauce), hummus, and tabouli.
This place used to be great. But now they can’t get a simple order right. The workers behind the counter were nice, the cooks were giving me dirty looks when I delicately informed the staff my order wasn’t complete. The food was very subpar as well. Can’t say I’ll be back after this last experience.
