One of the BEST fast food places in Blacksburg/Christiansburg area. Better than the one in Roanoke. My boyfriend really loved his Chicken Fingers plater meal. He loves the Zaxby’s Sauce so when I got the order I went back in for more sauce cuz 1 sauce isn’t enough for him. I asked to buy 6 of them and the manager was so gracious to give me them for free. I had the Cobb Salad with 2 egg rolls. Whoever makes these egg rolls are MVP. I am Asian and I’ve only had 1 place in Roanoke who made good egg rolls and the ones Zaxby’s serve are SOOO good. Crispy and the wrap wasn’t too thick. Only thing is I needed was maeploy sauce which I always have at home. I did add my cucumber tomato onion salad I made couple days ago to my Cobb Salad. I LOVED the Coleslaw aa well. Amazing atmosphere. Polite staff. Clean. Loved the bathrooms as well. I went in to wash my hands because I had some gasoline on my hands from adding it to my vehicle and I took a selfie. Thank you sooo much for wonderful food and being sooo fast preparing it ????
We never had Zaxby's before and most likely won't again. The kids wanted to try the Mr. Beast boxes. Everything was just so bland and dry like old school cafeteria food. I ordered delivery, so I will take that into account with it being a little cold. However, the delivery driver delivered my food in about 15 minutes after i got the text saying my food was ready. So, either the food is only good in the very first 15 minutes after being made or it just was never good in the first place.
This is probably the worst Zaxby’s we’ve ever been to. The drive thru is constantly closed (probably every time we try to go to it) This last time it was of course closed, the employees are so unfriendly and just seem so depressed. The food looks like they put minimal effort into making it (wings not covered in sauce). The bathroom didn’t have any toilet paper and the floor was messy. It’s always such a bummer going there. We won’t be back. I’d be embarrassed if I was the owner/operator or even the manager.
The restaurant doesn't open until 11, but it's listed on Google and their website/app as opening at 10:30. I placed a mobile order assuming they would be open at 10:30, and it was promised to be ready by 10:45. Even after they opened 11, they hadn't started my order and I had to wait several more minutes. Plus, a straw wasn't included for my drink nor were there any napkins. Staff wasn't very friendly either. I was looking forward to trying their new Mr. Beast meal, but this experience has ruined both Zaxby's and Mr. Beast for me.
Wheelchair ramp was inaccessible, looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months, rotting leaves, garbage.
Service was very slow, after waiting 10 minutes I asked if my food was coming, took a few more minutes. I was the only one at the counter. No fryers going, food just sitting under heat lamps.
Garbage inside was piling over inside the restaurant. I should not have eaten there. I submitted feedback on Zaxby’s website but never got a reply.
Went in 30 minutes before close waited 20 minutes for food got locked out of restaurant had to go through drive thru got told we're closed my order was missing stuff and I'm not happy because you should not turn away customers a couple minutes away from closing. They need better staff and better management.
I always enjoy picking up a meal here. The Buffalo Garlic blaze sauce is my favorite. I would recommend the boneless wings or a Zaxby’s salad they never disappoint.
Chicken was a little dry. Flavors were overall okay. Cashier seemed semi-annoyed we were there. Pop machine flavors were a little off. Not a bad value but definitely not the first place I would go for chicken.
