Hole in the wall pizza place with no seating or delivery. The owner was courteous. The pizza was delicious and kid approved. Can't beat 6$ for a large single topping pizza in a state with runaway gas prices and the same size pizza costing 14$+ anywhere else.
My wife and I always buy Zappy pizza from the one on E San Ysidro blvd. Best pizza ever. And we came here expecting the same quality and my god it's not even close. We didn't even eat the pizza. We had to drive back to San Ysidro to get the good pizza that same day and threw this one away. I'm not sure why but they obviously are cutting on quality and making pizza that is just not worth it. In the picture you can see the difference right away. Zappy from San Ysidro is the full one and this one.
Love the pizza here. Rather get a pizza at a local spot and support a local business than buying at a franchise spot. Highly recommend the pizza here. Much better than other zappy pizza’s.
Our new favorite pizza. It may be the best $5 pizza I've had. We been coming now for 3 months and never have to wait longer than 10min. He makes them fresh. I stopped going to the little caesars because they never have cheese, this pizza is way better. Wish we would have found it sooner.
I asked for a supreme all fresh ingredients, quick and very nice service.
They didn't have mushrooms at the moment instead got jalapenos and black olives. The dough is skinny but full of flavor.

Our pizza was hot and fresh. The sauce was delicious. The toppings were generous. The owner was very polite and welcomed us to the neighbor. We will absolutely be back and this was a great value for the price.

We were in town for a few days and pizza sounded good for dinner our last night there. I googled pizza, looked for the most stars and randomly chose Zappy’s TOTALLY due to number of stars! (Reviews are important to businesses!)
We were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and had a huge smile! We ordered our pizza and waited 8-10 minutes! It came out hot, fresh and SO delicious for a great price! The man shared that he had taken over the business after the death of his father. You could see the pride in his eyes. He’s proud of his work as well he should be! The restaurant doesn’t offer dine in as it is very tiny and modest. I’m telling you, if you don’t eat Zappy’s pizza when you’re in National City,Ca…. You aren’t eating the best pizza in town!
