Best WLM Reviews

This place was packed on Saturday night, but we didn’t have to wait to be seated and our food was brought out pretty quickly. Our server was great and the food was good as well.
Great service and atmosphere! They are known for their margaritas.
We had a group of 14 and were sat immediately on a Friday night at about 7pm. This place is huge and accommodating! Our waiter was amazing. I am sure he had other tables but we would never had known. I wish I got his name. Our drinks were delivered quickly and never ran low. Chips and salsa were refilled without asking and by the way, the salsa was top 3 salsas I have ever had. Great flavor and just enough heat to let you now it was there but not over powering.
The food came out quickly and for the most part all at the same time. No one had to wait very long. Food was packed with flavor and I didn't hear one person say they didn't enjoy it.
Zapata's was suggested to us by our hotel and we were not disappointed.
I suppose all the good reviews we saw when we picked out this place for lunch was for good service, because the food was certainly mediocre at best. Also, its heavily americanized Mexican. The salsa was the only item that had any heat.
We got the baked cheese thats what the waiter called it, it was tasteless. We assumed it was queso, but I can make far better queso at home.We ordered a chicken taco and a chicken enchilada, and veggie fajitas. The fajitas had very big chunks and strips of carrots, broccoli zucchini and bell peppers which had a lot of butter on them, it also came with a tiny bowl of melted better, but otherwise there wasn't any other seasoning. The tortillas were soft.
The chicken wasn’t seasoned either.
I wouldn't visit again unless all I am looking for its good service and decent salsa
Food was disgusting, it had obviously been cooked on a different day. Enchilada was to tough to cut. It’s been down hill the past few visits . We will never be back. $46 for 2. No sweet tea, server was wiping his snotty nose as he was adding a lemon to mine. He was nice and attentive if that means anything. Attached is the “wet”queso flemiado my wife got.
Very Disappointed. We have been traveling for 6hrs we stopped to eat and the place had great reviews and looked nice, the atmosphere was nice our waiter was so friendly and sweet. The food was very disappointing. We didn’t eat. $82 for the beer to be hot, the margarita to be watered down. The steak queso had no steak, and was old. The kids grilled cheese was two hamburger buns with a handful of shredded cheese. The other two plates looked great but sadly they didn’t taste great. I order enchiladas no onions they told me it didn’t come with onions. It was stuffed full of onions. The chili relenio was just the pepper full of cheese no meat. We didn’t eat anything other than about two bites and we just couldn’t eat it. We thanked our server, paid and left.
Salsa taste like Pace. Chips are thick premade and cold. Fajitas had 4 slices of beef the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. No flavor or seasoning. I asked for the hottest salsa they had and it was a chunky roasted salsa but no heat, acid or salt. To sub rice and beans with grilled veggies was $6.00 extra and it wasn’t worth it. The steak was chewy and not seasoned.
Good grub spot in downtown with something for everyone. Short walk to the ice house and park nearby.
