This place had everything! HUGE buffet and not badly priced. The food was fresh and tasted great. They had boiled crawfish!! I couldn't believe it! I'm from NOLA and the crawfish were delicious! First place I've been to here that's had good crawfish.
This place has went from bad to worse!
At 6:30 pm on a Thursday evening 75% of the items on the buffet, were either old and cold or empty!
With many customers in the building, even the desserts were gone (see photos) When asked if they would replenish, they said, “5 minutes” but in a 1 hours time, nothing was restocked, NOTHING. I saw customers coming in on my way out and informed them of the lack of food, they thanked and said “they’ve been doing this” just Wow.
When I called the next day to complain to management, she rudely informed me that “Golden Corral” is a 1/2 hr. down the road.
I for one will never go back, when I pay dinner price the buffet table should be full.
I do feel the board of health should do something about the standing water in the bathroom stalls, that is a SERIOUS health concern.
This is the best place in town to get buffet style Chinese all the way to American food I recommend that everyone give it at least a try because it is well worth going I will definitely be back for more you do not walk away from their hungry that is for sure they have got anything in everything you could ever think of right down to desserts!!! I have to say that they have picked up the menu with food. They have the grill open again You pick out all the food you want on your plate and then hand it to them They will make it and put it back on a clean plate so they make it to order! They have even got Frog Legs on the buffet bar now!!!
Usually when we come here the food is good, but today it wasn't. White Fish was gross tasted weird, . Noodles wasn't flavored right. Doughnuts were over cooked and hard. Most of the chicken was overcooked n hard. Salmon was good. Hibachi grill was great. But ya I don't know if it's cuz they have new cooks, or changed the recipe to the food but I wasn't impressed. Very disappointed ????. Plus kids from 12-1 should be free . It's ridiculous kids over 10 and up r $15.00 a person even adults.
Used to be much better. We used to go 2 or 3 times a week, the quality has dropped so much. There are also less options. None for vegetarians. Luckily the price is much higher than it used to be just to sit in the same beat down worn out furniture they have had for 3+ ownerships. Wish it were better, I'm sure it's not easy to run a business. Just no longer worth the trip. I always have to grab some food on the way home.
On the way out out as I was paying g for food I told the young lady the food sucked. The food was old, hard, and some even cold. And as me and my husband were sitting finishing a few bite of jello on a plate we were sharing the waitress walked past our table and took our plate with the food and one of our forks and all I was doing was peeling an orange slice to eat with the jello. We drove over an hour to eat here because people we know says how good it is. Well we won't be coming back.
Larger Chinese buffet with a lot of hot food options, typical Chinese American fare as well as Southern comfort food items.
The place was lively, but we were seated right away.
They had many options of chicken, so I tried 3-4 of them and they were all delicious. The standout American food item was the beef and cheese in a puff pastry, it was like a Philly cheese steak.
For a place that has a sign for sushi on the front foor, LIMITED SUSHI options. That was probably the biggest disappointment of my visit.
Oh, also as fair warning, this place has the SPICIEST ???? Hot and Sour soup I've ever tasted.
I tried this place back in 2010 when I lived in Muncie and didn't much care for it. Thought I'd give it another try with my kids and we all agreed it wasn't the best. Food isn't as fresh and authentic. The water tables were way too hot. If you want great Chinese I'd drive the few miles to Albany. We won't be back.
