Young Dong Tofu is a constant hustling and bustling restaurant in the heart of Chino Hills. They’re one of the best Korean restaurants in the city and the proof is in how busy they are for lunch and dinner service.
We came here on a Friday evening around 6pm and waited at least a half hour.
We ordered the bbq beef rib combo (with mushroom tofu soup), bbq beef combo (with dumpling tofu soup) and a seafood pancake. Their banchan (cold side dishes) are absolutely delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered and had a ton of leftovers to have for breakfast the next day, which is always a nice treat.
Because they have a small staff, you will need to feel comfortable flagging them down for service by raising your hand. They turn tables over fairly quickly and do the best they can with who they have. We would come back or order takeout from here next time.
The food was very delicious, I don’t like that the food stay super hot because for me was uneatable, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and cold, I wish they make the environment looking more comfortable and warm with a good decoration, also I smile couple time to the waitress but she never smile to me back, the price was ok, $38 per 2 bowls of tofu and water, the food was delicious
This place is always busy most of the time but it’s spacious so you won’t feel eating in a overcrowded place. The food was delicious and came with huge portion. My favorite is the bbq beef ribs combo with beef tofu soup. Their banchan is the best I ever had so far, it’s fresh and pack with lots of flavor. Definitely my favorite tofu house in town.
Here has tasty food ????but really horrible services ! ????What a poker face the waitress has. They got limited number of waitress which resulted in really long waiting time for order, also extremely long time waiting the food. This place could ruin your whole day, my suggestion is order to go!!!
The best Tofu Soup in town! Cannot go wrong when you go to this place! Service, Quality of Food, and Amount of Food you get is absolutely the best!
Delicious sides, friendly service and main course is well presented and tastes great! I love going to this spot whenever I am in Chino Hills area. Enjoy multiple tofu soup choices and authentic hotot rice served with the best KBBQ Ribs or BBQ Beef or Hot and Spicy Chicken! Lots more choices to choose from!

We came here for lunch, my first time in this restaurant, however, this is my friends favorite and he invited me here.
Choices are Combination, Tofu Menu, and Special Menu. This is a more of order for yourself and not the sharing type.
Serving size is adequate. The B.B.Q Beef Rib is very good. I also ordered the Seafood Tofu Soup and it is also very good.
Definitely, I will be coming back to try the other food choices.

- Get the beef ribs with Oyster Tofu combo.
- Oyster Tofu is the only way to go
Seriously from the outside you wouldn't think this place has some of the best Korean food in Los Angeles County. It is our go-to place for this type of korean tofu soup. The bonchon, side dishes, and meats are just as good. You know it's good because it's filled with Korean people eating.
