Best WLM Reviews
Excited to try this place but I was alittle disappointed. Presentation was excellent. The steak was not editable it was tough and chewy couldn't break it with my teeth. I let them know they offered something else in place. The chicken was cooked right tender but few pieces kinda fatty. Rice was cooked perfect sticky, veggies and shrimp in tempura good. Miso soup always good. Salad was crisp enjoyed the dressing. So 3 stars because everything was good not great.
Chose this restaurant for convenience - proximity to the hotel. Turned out to be a good choice.
The miso soup was really good. The menu has an interesting offering of sushi and nigiri. The fried rice was bland and the portion was small. Was not a big fan.
Service was ok... nothing to rave about.
Will I return? : Probably not.
Really liked the food and service here! I travel on the road 200 days a year. I’m always on the hunt for good a sushi meal. Yoshini did not disappoint! This was my first visit. You MUST have the Harley Davidson Roll !!
We stopped here after a long day of traveling on our way to the Coastal Redwoods. The food and service was amazing and definitely worth the stop! The owner KC and his staff, were super friendly and welcoming! We liked it so much we stopped on our way back to the airport before returning home. Saved room this time for dessert!
The best thing from here is the service. Very nice people and they are always checking up on us. However, The food was not as good. Portion very small. Very expensive sushi place as well. The lion king roll tasted burnt, not sure if that is just how they make it. From the pic u can see it. Salmon sashimi was just very small cut portion and not fillet so well. U can see small portion of the skin still on it.. rainbow roll was cold and dry like it just came out of the refrigerator unwrapped. Overall, this place have a good atmosphere, just have to upgrade on food quality and pricing.
Man... I don't know what to say. I got miso soups, edamame, happy hour rolls special, and one of their special rolls.
The Miso soup were flavorless. So was the sushi special. It was three rolls and they all looked and tasted like Blend California rolls. The main flavor was the vinegar in the rice. And it got old quickly.
The special roll had an unagi sauce that tasted like it was from a bottle. I'm sorry to say that. The quality of the fish on the special roll was good though.
The interior is okay. The lighting is dim, making it hard to read the menus. I had to use my cell phone light, but maybe that's a personal problem.
The bathrooms were uninviting. The men's bathroom was dark, and it had graffiti in there. See the pictures.
All of this for $47 including tip? I'm sorry, but it's not worth it. Any takeout sushi would have done better than this. The only thing good here really was the ambience.
Lunch at Yoshino was great! I order the chicken teriyaki lunch very tasty!!!! So if you're in the area or catching a flight out of Oakland do stop by Yoshino Sushi for great food!!!!
Everything was nice and fresh..the Mango lemon drop was delicious and strong I will be back
