I will never take another vehicle here. They aren't upfront on their prices. I was told to bring my vehicle in to be looked at. It cost $200 just for that. They also told me I needed the entire front end replaced and it would cost $1300. My brother took the vehicle to another mechanic and the only thing it needed was one ball joint replaced. I recommend you find another mechanic so you're not throwing money out the window. I would have selected 0 stars if it was an option.
Had a mobile mechanic try and to do a crankshaft position sensor, got it stuck in the block and i couldn’t make it 4 hours I came to York and they were completely friendly and understanding. They stopped what they had going on to help me and get me back on the road to my family. I truly appreciate them and highly recommend them for your every mechanical need. They are my go to mechanic shop now when I’m in town and need something done. Truly appreciate them and everything they did for me!
Took it there for a transmission flush and said it wouldnt be over 200$ but turned out to be 450$ and then said my transmission was bad and trued to ovee price used transmission for more than a brandnew one and when I picked it up to take it to a different place to get rebuilt there was more problems with it then when it got there has a oil leak now and my doors to my car won’t unlock
They stayed to make sure my suburban got fixed. Blew head gaskets last week. Great job

Flat tire at 5:30am, called into Yorks, they got there quick as possible and got my car rolling again. Wonderful people, super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this shop! ????
York’s had my truck in his shop bc my alternator was over heating, he went through all of my wires and multiple other components of the truck to find out my glow plugs were not shutting off, he had 6 hours of work put in and only made me pay for about 4 1/2 hours. He explained everything to me step by step and welcomed me into his shop to talk about everything anytime I came to check up, I’ve gone to him multiple times when in need of “out of my hands” help and I recommend York’s auto, to anyone. He’s very respectful and only expects the same from his customers.
