Delicious food with a home town diner feel. Gluten free options and a large play area for kids. Ordered a Bacon Blue Bronco and it really kicked my hunger, great spice on a thick burger, hardly room left for frozen yogurt.
We went for our first time this evening and it was a great experience! I’m sure I looked confused as to never been inside before and Jorge Castillo (we asked his name before we left) was so helpful! He came over, while busy inside due to my daughter’s softball team there for a meeting and explained the process of how to get our yogurt/toppings with no rush! Jorge did not make me feel like he was in a rush or annoyed to explain; he was so helpful and friendly which I appreciate! My son also LOVED his yogurt and toppings, great price and we will be back!
This is THE best place to take the family for a great burger! They also have amazing hotdogs, yogurt and ice cream with all of the toppings. In addition there’s a growing display of a Lego town. I’m not easily impressed but this is the third time there for me and I can say that this place deserves to succeed.
I brought my kids here this evening. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, price normal. My two kids liked frozen yogurt that they had here. They had an abundant choice of flavors, and plentiful toppings. We will come again and I will recommend this joint to friends and family.
Alright so I got a lot to say so here it goes. Backstory:
Under the previous management this place was bombastic - until it wasn’t. Their main problem was lack of traffic and so one time I was the unlucky recipient of a burger that was cooked as the grill was heating up from a cold start(it was turned off when I placed my order). As you can imagine it was disgusting. They closed down soon after my subpar experience. No surprise.
Fast forward:
Saw that they were back up and running under new management so out of curiosity I stopped by to try them out again.
Verdict:
At present, they get an overall 3/5, but there is room for improvement.
Fries: 5/5
Nice and crispy, full of flavor. Love how thin they are.
Burger: 6/10
Patty is a bit thick and way too narrow for the bun. I’d prefer a thinner patty that covers the bun. I suspect the patty is frozen, not fresh(kind of a bummer) due to its football shape. Taste is fine but nothing to write home about. The patty was adequately seasoned but could have used a bit more char. Patty texture wasn’t bad and had enough moisture. Bun and toppings were excellent.
Conclusion:
This place is decent but could easily be better. The price for a single cheeseburger is $8.99(meal is $11.99) which is a lot considering it’s nothing special vs the area competition. If they either dropped the price or stepped up to fresh ground beef(preferably), then they’d have a winner on their hands. I will revisit this place in a few months to see if any changes have been made. If there are improvements, I’ll be sure to adjust the rating.
My daughter had a great time here! It was so much fun! We will definitely be back! The staff was awesome and the experience was unique!
Great atmosphere and service with mang choices on frozen yogurt and toppings. Family friendly and they have samples for you to try any flavors. Highly recommend.
This place isn’t as good as it used to be ???? went tonight to get some frozen yogurt and some of the candy must have been a generic brand because it tasted different than what I’m used to. Not a fan! Probably will travel a little further than this place next time to get better quality toppings. Customer service was good though!
