This place is on par with you common hole in the wall Mexican place. They were able to accommodate a bigger group of us. I had the Shrimp Enchiladas and they were a solid 3.7/5. Great amount of shrimp, sauce, and cheese.
This place does everything you want it to and does it well. Of course, things could be better, but I won't bother listing them because I'd be splitting hairs. Give it a try if you're craving some decent Mexican food.
Been coming here ~15 years. The rice and beans have no businesses being THAT good. And if even the rice and beans are stellar, you can guess how good the rest of the food is. 90 Mexican places near my house and I still drive 20 minutes for this one. I HIGHLY recommend the chili verde plate, even if it’s not your thing.
Breakfast burritos: 5/5! Delicious every time! I either get the machaca (my favorite), chorizo, or Deluxe.
Carne Asada Burrito: 3.5/5 (it was very small, and the meat was tough/chewy/fatty). You can also see in the pix that the breakfast burritos had way more filling than the carne asada.
Salsa Bar: 5/5! Love every salsa!
Customer Service: 4.5/5. They're polite, but have given me the wrong order before :(
Overall, the burritos are smaller than I'd like, (Thanks, inflation) but are tasty. Everything tastes and looks very fresh, includong the guac!! None of that watered down sour cream garbage. I probably won't get the carne asada again. I'll stick with breakfast burritos.
Menu is wide and confusing for me at one glance. Mini tacos of 5 should be either all shrimp or all fish, no mix match. We ordered chicken hard shell taco, it was a mistake, oil dripping like water out of the taco, please do not order any hard shell taco even if the cashier insist. They just simply fried corn tortilla and do not let the oil drip out, big NO.
Good side: I had the yummiest fish taco here. It just melted in my mouth. We ordered shrimp and fish taco and it was a hit. I have not liked fish taco of even taco stand which is very famous. But this place is first in my list for fish tacos. Place is like a cafe, and not so clean, we dined outside looking at the sunset. Pretty good experience. And yes they have salsa cart. Enjoy.
this place is always so good and the best place to get mexican food in the area. they have a huge menu and nice portions. crispy fries and tacos! the food is not too heavy and they're heavy on veggies which is a huge plus for mexican food. the drink selection is great too as well as the flan that they always have in stock. we like jarritos and mundet soda
This place has one of the best salsa bars! Been ordering from here for about 8 years. My go to is the seafood campechano, crunchy beef tacos or burritos. Not too big of a fan on the rice sometimes.
Yesenia's has the best menudo in town. Fresh and done very well. Highly recommend the menudo, especially to get right after a long night. Iykyk. The breakfast burrito is....light and not full filling. They skimp on the bacon and ham. They California Burrito is light, and they skimp on the fries. The burritos have a lot of tortilla wrap...if the makes sense. You can see in the pics. Goood flavor to them. I just wish they filled the burritos more for especially since they are 12-15 bucks. Roll tacos are on point.
Standard walk in fast food setup. The food is really good. Like amazing good and fresh. If you like Mexican food you will love this place. Very good price.
