Called the day ahead scheduled pick up at noon. Taxi service confirmed ride hour before. Timely, clean, quiet, safe ride. Rates were fabulous as well. Will be using this service now!
I was biking today and a Yellow Cab honked at me and passed me with less than the required 5 feet of clearance in Grand Rapids. The cab's license plate number was DRF 4562.
Called a cab at 3:15 pm for a visitor at my job and was quoted a 45-60 minute wait. We confirmed that this was fine, but after an hour and a half they hadn't showed up. Called them to confirm they were still coming and was told that one of their drivers had called in and she was sending another. Told me they were just about to call me to verify that she still wanted the ride. She eventually gave up and accepted a ride from my coworker and here at 6:15 pm no cab ever showed up or called. No wonder Uber and Lyft are taking over, this is absolutely insane.
Scheduled a cab well in advance to get me to the airport early in the morning. Driver never even showed up! When I call Yellow Cab about the issue they said another driver was on the way but 45min out...I ended up having to drive my own car and almost missed the flight. Never again. Zero stars.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. Like many other reviewers, I called in advance for a cab to pick me up early the following morning to take me to the airport. After they didn’t show up 15 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, I called the office and they told me I wasn’t on the schedule. They said they could send a cab that would arrive in 15 minutes. I couldn’t chance it as I would miss my flight if the cab arrived any later than 15 minutes, so I was forced to drive and park. Now I will unfortunately have to pay over $200 in parking fees. And to top it off, the cab called 35 MINUTES AFTER I WAS TOLD IT WOULD ARRIVE IN 15. I WOULD HAVE MISSED A VERY IMPORTANT FLIGHT!!! Thankfully I was already through security at that point and made my flight right before the gate door closed. This place is the worst. Don’t risk your plans or waste your time. Never again. I spit at you, Yellow Cab!!!!
My car is having issues so I decided to take a cab to get around until I’m back up and running. I’ve never had an issue until today with this company. I called for a ride at 12:14 well after standing almost an hour waiting the driver called at 1:07 to say that he was getting near at 1:32 he calls back and by that time I began to walk because I didn’t want to wait any longer! Congratulations you all lost a customer because I will not utilize your sorry a%# services anymore!
Called on Thursday morning at 9:30 am for a cab to pick up the next morning at 4:45 am to go to the airport. The cab never showed up and luckily I don’t live far from the airport and had no choice but to drive and park my car there. I called yellow cab when I got home as to why the cab never showed up and they told me I wasn’t one their schedule.The guy who i talked to never wrote it down. I will never deal with them again as they can’t even do their job right. Not reliable company.
I had a working interciew at 4, so I called at 11 to set it up for 3 because I know cabs can be late. I get my son all ready and we are waiting. 30 minutes go by and no car, so I call. The lady says well I haven't even assigned a driver to you, I have 2 drivers, and I can't give you a time until someone is assigned to you. Another 15 minutes goes by, still no car. So I had to call and let them know I was going to be late and then I called Metro and set up a car which was there in 30 minutes and the driver was very nice. Yellow cab still hasn't shown up.
