Booked a cab for a 3:45 AM ride to the airport more than 12 hours in advance. Confirmed with phone call later that evening. Cab never showed. Called an Uber which picked me up 15 minutes after my scheduled zTrip pickup time.
Driver was prompt given Dixie Hwy traffic and other traffic driver encountered. Trip was 2 hrs between nursing home in Seymour In and Pleasure Ridge Park, KY to Owen Funeral Home. My brother stayed 4 hrs then took a return trip from Funeral Home to Seymour. Wheelchair accessible vehicles were dispatched for both trips that otherwise would not be available on a ride sharing service.
I have used Yellow Cab personally and have always felt safe. The drivers were always courteous and professional. Waiting has been the only issue. No service is perfect however. I just need to call earlier.
Driver of vehicle 755 just almost caused a major accident on 65-S merging to Arthur St exit because they were on their phone. Pretty typical of drivers with Ztrip for them to be on their phone. Do you teach that during training??
Every time I have scheduled a taxi to pick me up early in the morning, I have had to call lyft or another company. It's always the same automated message. We'll notify you when we contact a driver. That's ridiculous. I call and schedule a taxi, 24hrs ahead of time, for the airport, & if I decided to trust yellow cab, since I scheduled & paid for a ride, I would miss my flight. Thank God I can call someone else & they show up. Yellow cab needs to get it together. Your service is terrible. I will never use them again.
I called them, and scheduled for them to pick me up at a certain time, and they never did show up, so I had to make other arrangements in order to get to where I needed to be. This is very poor service on their end especially after me already calling, and scheduling to be picked up. They have to do way better than this with their Customers.
Tried to reserve in advance, online system confirmed, actual trip time no taxi. Taxi called 20 minutes later to say they had arrived…. At that point had ordered an Uber and made my flight.
Worst people ever! Today, 11/3/23, I waited for an hour and a half. I can't drive as I'm disabled. I don't normally need to use 'Z' cab. I cancelled it. My neighbor, who's husband of 60 years is dying, was going out and able to drop me to grocery shop. AGAIN. WORST PEOPLE EVER!! RUDE! Said they couldn't find a driver. Uber, her I come!!!
Your experience really depends on the person, but nobody wants to engage anymore, so it’s a very uncomfortable silence, bc if you are friendly then the person doesn’t know when to stop talking, so you spend your time listening to something you could careless about… catch 22
