I wanted to share a recent experience I had at Yellow Bird Auto Center Inc. on 6302 16th Ave in Brooklyn. Let me tell you, it was far from pleasant, and I think you should know about it before considering them for your car repairs.
First off, the vibe there was just off. The employees seemed to have missed the memo on basic manners and professionalism. Instead, they were rude, disrespectful, and downright insulting. It’s like they forgot they were dealing with paying customers!
But wait, it gets worse. When it came to the actual repairs, they completely dropped the ball. I brought my car in for a simple front strut and rear shock replacement, and they managed to mess up both jobs. The parts they used didn’t even match my car, and they ended up breaking the rear shocks during installation. Talk about frustrating!
The cherry on top? When I tried to get answers about when they’d fix their mistakes, they were totally clueless. No timeline, no reassurance, just a big question mark. And despite leaving messages for the owner to call me back, I got radio silence.
So, here’s the deal: Save yourself the stress, headache, and money by steering clear of Yellow Bird Auto Center Inc. Trust me, you don’t want to deal with the hassle I went through. Spread the word and let’s help each other avoid unnecessary trouble.
And to the folks at Yellow Bird: It’s time to step up your game. Customers deserve respect, quality service, and honesty. It’s not rocket science, just basic decency. Let’s hope they get the memo soon.

Today I came for a full diagnostic of the car, they looked at it for literally 15 minutes and said that everything was fine with the car, but I just needed to change the pads and discs all around, the cost was 700 dollars, it was expensive, but I agreed, I asked again if everything was fine with the car, they reinforced me that yes, after replacing the pads and discs, they drove the car away from me, and it turned out that my rear brake lights were not on, as you did the diagnostics then and said that everything was fine with the car if they didn’t see that the rear brake lights were not on. Of course, they charged me money and for this 30 dollars, I paid and left. Soon after leaving, I heard a knock in the chassis, returning back after 5 minutes I saw that my wheel was NOT CLOSED, and I also lost the bolts for securing the wheel!!!!! I paid these 700 dollars and they didn’t spin my tire, how do you even understand that? Of course they spun my tire and said I’m sorry. That’s all? After this check, I’m sure that they didn’t check anything for me, they didn’t look at my car at all, there were no errors read, didn’t look at the engine, spent 2 hours in the service center and in those 2 hours had 2 problems after their work. I really wished I had turned to this place. And the diagnostics are complete, it takes 5 minutes to look at the chassis with a flashlight, no, and again no
Waited too long to get service, maybe they were short of mechanics, don’t know, but 10 days to wait for repairs is not acceptable, they do inspections very fast though.
I have been coming to Tony for years. My dad used him also . He is honest and keeps it real ! Highly recommend Tony and the yellowbird crew

Price are very affordable and facility is clean and staff very friendly.
Very Busy, but they got some people out side the place to help u figure out where to go! Only went for an oil change and even tho I saw cars coming in and out they where able to do it for me really quickly. Checked everything also to make sure of any other problems
